[Passive] This elegant device has no software to install, no configuration options to choose, and no complicated setup. If you can hold an Ethernet cable in your hand, aim it at a little hole, and push it inside, you got this. If only all technology was this satisfying. Easy five stars.

[100 Gb/s ] I have used Trendnet on several projects and nothing but good luck. I always use the unmanaged versions for my applications so I couldn't speak to their managed versions. They are a great value, work well and are usually very slimline.

[Metal] This switch is the best solution to increase your network without the need of setting up and for a ridiculous price.

[44.64 Mpps] This is a well built bugger. I like the low power consumption since it's on 24/365. Power supply fits in my UPS conveniently.
Little known Trendnet makes good things. This is my second switch of theirs.

[100 Gb/s ] The switch replaced an old 8-port switch I was using. The new switch was easy to set up and begin using. Almost too easy. There was only a quick start guide with limited information. I wanted more technical information, but as it turned out I really didn't need more technical information. The switch just works with no special configuration or Ethernet connector placement for LAN connectivity. Good choice if you need lots of Ethernet ports.
