Kodak Ektachrome E100 Color Film 5x7 50 Sheetsis a daylight-balanced color transparency film characterized by its extremely fine grain structure, vibrant color rendering, and overall low contrast profile. [E-6] I got my first 4x5 - intrepid- shot a few test shots with this film in different lighting conditions - night, day, overcast - in all situations the film rendered beautiful colors and tonal range. I developed the film myself using spp tank and cinestills e6 chemistry. The results exceeded my every expectation. Great film. 5

[50 Sheets] Great Film gone forever. Kodak really screwed up their business luckily I was able to grab one last box of this beautiful film before its gone forever. Sad day for America and photographers. 5

[50 Sheets] I use this film for astronomical photograpy. Tested against all others. This film continues to respond to faint light past one hour of exposure. For daylight the look is very neutral with less contrast than other chrome films. Great for scanning. Kodak put their heart into this film. 5

[50 Sheets] I prefer this transparency film on the other brands like fuji, because it's more flexible but still has it's charctaristics it's very good film for high contrast scenes, but it isn't good for soft mood or with scenes with unbalanced light when you need a high dynamic range 5

[100] On the brink of Ektachrome's disappearance I was able to fill my freezer with as much of this film in 35 mm, 120, and 4 x 5 sizes as it would hold. [E-6] Great tonality; scans well! I formerly used Provia 100 for shooting artwork; this is a very good replacement. 5

[1.13 lb] I wasn’t sure about the new Ektachrome at first. I shot some 35mm in my F5 and in an old rangefinder and it just sent me back to Provia. But then I tried 120 and was thrilled with the results - particularly with night shots. I decided to grab some 4x5. I have now developed 4 sheets and am finding that I really like it. There seems to be a touch more exposure latitude than Provia and the colors are nicer than what I saw with the 35mm version. I will buy more. 5
