Prevent leaks and keep your Nikon Z6 or Z7 II camera safe in Aquatica's AZ6/7 II Underwater Housing with the SURVEYOR Moisture and Vacuum Sensor. This unit is sensitive to atmospheric pressure, and it allows you to confirm watertight integrity before diving. An included compensation function improves accuracy by ensuring that changes in ambient or internal temperature will not cause incorrect readings.

Once your camera is installed, simply push the actuation button on the sensor's circuit board. With the optional valve and extracting pump, which are part of the complete Vacuum Circuitry Kit, you can actually remove excess air to create a vacuum in the housing.

LED light will turn green for 2 seconds to confirm actuation
Once a complete vacuum is achieved, the LED will blink in green again for 2 seconds

If the pressure level is increasing but a vacuum has not yet been achieved, the LED will begin to flash in orange
Should a slight loss in pressure be detected, the LED will start to flash in orange to warn you
If your housing system is failing to maintain a vacuum, or the slightest amount of water has made contact with the sensor probes, an audible alarm will go off and the LED will also flash rapidly in red
Advanced Aquatica circuit has temperature compensation included, so changes in ambient or internal temperature will not cause incorrect readings
Onboard actuation button is for the vacuum only; your alarm is always on
With the optional valve and extracting pump, which are part of the Vacuum Circuitry Kit, you can remove excess air to create a vacuum in your housing
Housing can be purchased with this system pre-installed at the factory before shipment, in which case this one will serve as a spare or replacement
If you purchased the housing without this kit initially, you can now add it on
This SURVEYOR system may be used to replace the discontinued #20023 moisture alarm found in older housings

A: Upon inspection, it appears that the cable that comes with it is installed with the unit, so the length of the cable that is on it is the length that is used. Unfortunately according to Aquatica, because of all of the wiring and connections, this is the longest they could safely make the cable

I bought this housing for my Nikon Z6ii to replace the one I still have for Nikon D7000 series. The housing pretty much has the same quality but the new back cover with the locking system is much better than the previous system. It feels safer, hard to open in case some accident happens. The controls are good, just need to get used to it. Also the pistol grip connector under the housing is very practical when using the pistol grip. I can still use my old ports but not the old pistol grip. The orange color stands out among the crowded line up. 5

I choose this 45 degree viewfinder because not always have plenty space to shoot being completely vertical. This viewfinder allows me to be horizontal and be able to shoot perfectly 5

I shoot surf photography and I came from having a 5D Mk III with the Elite series housing purchased in 2014. The Edge series is a huge improvement. The back plate is always aligned with the bottom hinges and the electronic shutter works great. Additionally it's lighter and smaller than the Elite series. Highly recommend. 5

The Aquatica ball clamps are really good at holding arms in place. The large knob allows for easy tightening and loosening above and below water. I found that the Aquatica clamps hold better than the Ultra Light clamps. You can really crank down tight with this large knob. I like how some of the Ultra Light clamps have cutouts, but this further limits the arm hold. Think about whether there is a heavy or long arm that will be clamped. If so, go with Aquatica. I have a 16-inch arm attached to one triple ball clamp. There is a heavy underwater video light on the end of that 16-inch arm. This is a good amount of weight out of water. The best clamps will allow a little bit of movement out of the water when there is a 16-inch arm and a 1 1/2-pound video light on it. The Ultra Light moved a lot, every time. If weight or length is not an issue, then most other clamps will work fine. 5
