Display an HDMI source via an HDBaseT device using this Kramer WP-20CT HDMI USB-C Wall Plate HDBaseT Transmitterfrom Kramer. The wall mounted device features an HDMI input at the front of the plate. It takes in HDMI video sources up to 4K and delivers them via an HDBaseT output on the back panel. 4K video can be transmitted up to 130', and 1080p video can be transmitted up to 230'.

Control over the device can be achieved by connecting to the USB Type-C input or via the bidirectional RS-232 ports on the back panel. Built-in automatic functions can be toggled on and off for a customizable experience. Included with the device is a 12V power supply, which ensures easy installation.

Q: 1. Does this unit always require a power cable? Or could it be powered with a PoE/PoH receiver?

A: The Kramer TP-580TXR Extended Range HDBaseT Twisted Pair Transmitter does not support POE powering and would require the use of its included power supply.

Q: 2. How long does it last on a 7.4V 4400mah battery?

A: I have not tested this yet. I plug direct to P-Tap of rig or monitor setup.

Q: 3. Does this device transmit & receive on the same radio frequencies as Wireless Access Points (2.4GHz and/or 5.0GHz? Thus causing channel contention/interference?

A: This device operates on 4.9 5.9 GHz (includes non-DFS and DFS frequency bands). It should not interfere with most Wi-Fi networks or devices.

Q: 4. I have a sony Battery NP-F970. Which Sony mounting plate would that fit?

Q: 5. Comes with a Two-Pin Lemo Power Cable, but what's on the other end, D-tap?

A: On the other end of the Two-Pin Lemo Power Cable is a D-Tap connection.

Q: 6. Does this have LUT compatibility?

A: The Ghost Eye can not augment the signal itself. It will send whatever you send down the HDMI or SDI signal, but cannot add anything. If you can send a LUT down the line, it will send the LUT.

Q: 7. Will this work near excessive amounts of metal(ex. bleachers in a gym)?

A: With a Wireless System like this the important thing is that you have a line of site between the Transmitter and Receiver. If the bleachers are not in the way of your line of site between the transmitter and receiver they should not have an effect on the signal.

Q: 8. Hi. Can I record 4k Raw 12 bit and at the same time transmit the signal through the hd cinegear?

A: Don't think the transmitter takes 4K. but operationally you can always loop out from either your camera or the recorder itself, presuming your recorder is at the camera end of things.

Q: 9. Could this be used on a ceiling/beam instead of a wall (lagged in properly of course)? Want to hang some pipe from it via a Big Ben Clamp.

A: Yes this plate can be bolted to a ceiling or a beam.

[Dolby TrueHD] I'm using 571/572s for video, with audio going to mixer and house speakers. Video and audio are not in synch. Presonix mixer has no function to delay audio. Help, anyone? 5

[1.355 lb] These little pico tools from Kramer are an excellent solution at a good price point. Using these with 572 receivers and a Kramer 2x4 HDMI distro on the front end to send presentations to three screens over 100' of qualified (Kramer uniKat) CAT6 cable. It just works. No latency, no glitching, no resolution limits up to and including 1920 x 1080. Rack amount accessories make for a clean, manageable installation. The 572 receivers get power over ethernet, so no wall wart required at the receiver end. 5

[HDMI: 8-Channel] Used in a church sanctuary with DGK6 cable. Signals are excellent. Red/Orange/Green indicator is especially handy as well as the surface mounting hardware. 5

[Dolby TrueHD] This Receiver/Transmitter pair really just makes a long (up to 295ft) HDMI cable. Nothing to 'install' as much as just 'plug in'. You'll need an HDMI cable at each end - plan accordingly. Use shielded cable! 5

[Yes] I have several pairs of PT-571/PT-572+ transmitter/receivers. They work the first time... every time. Picture and sound are great. Very little delay. I have cable lengths as long as 250 feet. 5

[HDMI: 8-Channel] Worked great. These work in pairs the PT-571 is the transmitter. You also need the the PT-572+ the receiver end. Our church uses 2 pairs of these. The one for our projector has been in use for more ten 2 years no issues at all. Rob 5

[HDMI: 8-Channel] This product works GREAT! This was a relatively short run (30') so Cat 5e worked just fine. Both devices powered from one end (Input TX) with this install. They were available, affordable and easy to install. The Power Supply is an inline DC supply, not a plug-in wall wart. This has been my go to HDMI extender kit. Kramer devices always work. 5

[Dolby TrueHD] Although you can buy other 4k HDBaseT extenders for less money, the Atlona units come with cable testing and firmware upgrade software which made the difference for me. The unit also works flawlessly for my 50ft run. 5
