The blue and pink Manfrotto Reversible Background 6x7' Blue/Pinkfrom Manfrotto Reversible Background 6x7' Blue/Pinkopens to a full 6 x 7' for studio use, and since it folds to one third its original size, you can easily transport it for location work. This background can be used in portrait or landscape orientation, whether you are shooting one or more subjects. A reversible background provides the added benefit of allowing you to change the color whenever you choose and the convenience of carrying one less background.

The steel rim is enclosed in rim tape with a triple-reinforced stitch line so it won't pop out, and if the rim comes apart or breaks, it is covered by a lifetime guarantee. A storage bag is included.

Q: 1. What kind of stand is best for this background?

A: I use a light stand with a clamp. I bought the special attachments for the background.....waste of money!

Q: 2. What is the actual size of this when it is folded?

A: When folded it has an approximate 27" diameter.

Q: 3. I have 2 similar backgrounds I got from Denny. They work fine BUT when I arrive on location I have to set them up and wait about 45 minutes for the wrinkles and creases to work themselves out. Are these the same or do they pop up perfectly flat like the material in a reflector?

A: It does not come out perfectly flat, but the wrinkles are minimal. I have a steamer which can take care of the major wrinkles in minutes. I would say 10 minutes is what you should plan for a setup.

Q: 4. Is this item really weigh 9 lbs? I want to buy it but I need to be sure about the weight.

A: 9lbs includes the weight of the shipping package. The item weights about 8 lbs.

Q: 5. Is the fabric mat, absorbing a lot of light, or more satin look?

A: It is a matte black. It can be pure black if your exposure is correct.

Q: 6. Does this come with equipment to stand or do we have to purchase a light stand and/or boom separately?

A: No the item does not come with a stand. I recommend a sturdy stand at least a Manfrotto not the Lastolite (Lastolite 3355 Bracketed Stand) as it is way too light and will just tip over - I know I got this. Another recommendation is a Lastolite Magnetic Background Support (LL LB1120). This attached to the top of your light stand and the background will just click onto the magnets. Hope this help.

Q: 7. does the skirt detatch?

A: The skirt is part of the background, its all one piece.

Q: 8. What Savage color is the grey closest to? Is the white close to Super White?

A: The Manfrotto Collapsible Reversible Background (White/Mid Gray, 6 x 7') is close to the Super white by savage. The grey is in between Fashion and Thunder gray. Note, this is all subjective.

Q: 9. Is this fabric a matte fabric? Or is it more sheeny?

A: The fabric on the collapsible background does offer a matte surface.

Q: 10. Is the Black and mid gray oval, collapsible and 6x7 just like the the black and white model appears to be? Or does it have square corners like the picture? Will the Magnetic Background Support work with it?

A: The Lastolite Collapsible Reversible Background (6 x 7', Black/Mid Gray) B&H # LABGC67BMG is collapsible in the same manner as the black/white version. It will also work with the Lastolite Magnetic Background Support.

[1x Bag] I’ve used similar backgrounds on a daily basis for almost 20 years and this one is a game changer for me. The material is beautiful and is well made. My first Lastolite lasted over 10 years and it’s still in use. I love the larger size and the grey is perfect! 5

[1x Bag] This background is quick and easy to set up and collapses to make storage and transport easy. It took me a little practice to learn how to quickly collapse it, I had to view a few YouTube videos. I like this 6X7 size, much more useful. After getting this I also purchased the Lastolite magnetic support hanger, makes life so much easier. 5

[34 x 34 x 2.5"] I do a huge amount of onsite portraits and this sets up in no time at all and is self supporting, so just one stand, or lean it against a wall to keep it upright and you're good to go. SO much easier than rolls of paper. Also, the fabric does absorb more light than paper, so you'll have to adjust your setup. FYI folding it up is difficult, but gets better as you do it more. 5

[Yes] I use this indoor or outdoor. Passport photos to glamour Portrait...to blocking the sun outside. It is much bigger than expected. So watch out that you don't knock over your monitor or other flash equipment (i have a small little office/studio). The only issue was how to break/fold it down. After you search youtube and try it a few times, it's no issue at all. I (personally) just love the black background. It's all about that drama in the shots! B&H and photography friends recommended this to me! B&H, you've done it again! 5
