Designed for the Apple 14" MacBook Pro (2021), the Kensington MagPro Elite Privacy Screen MacBook Pro 14" 2021attaches magnetically and allows the MacBook Pro to close completely to enter sleep mode. The privacy screen narrows the viewing angle to ±30° to prevent unauthorized viewing. The privacy screen also reduces blue light and glare.

[Plastic] Yes, it's a chunk of money to get AppleCare+, but it will come in handy when your battery capacity inevitably falls or you damage your device. I shelled out on my laptop, so it makes sense to keep it protected. 5

[0.415 lb] Protection plans aren't very exciting, but I did manage to get some valuable use out of the protection plan I purchased years ago for my mid 2010 MacBook Pro when its motherboard developed some cold solder joint problems and needed to be replaced just as the plan was running out. I'm typing this on my new 14 inch MacBook Pro which I just purchased to replace that mid 2010 MacBook Pro that I have used daily for almost 12 years. Purchasing the protection plan was worth it. 5
