[49.28 lb] We are using this machine for a 90 seat community theatre. This machine uses both regular ice and dry ice. We have only tried it with regular ice, but it works very well and puts out a lot of fog. The machine seems to be very sturdy and extremely well made. The directions are easy and complete. It does make some noise when generating fog but if the machine is behind some set walls or other items, it dampens the noise to an acceptable level. If you crank out the fog during scene changes with music, you wouldnt be able to hear it at all from the audience. Very pleased so far. 5

[Fog] I use Rosco fog fluid in a Rosco 1700 fog machine to create beam effects with a laser projector. The clear fog fluid performs exactly as the original (green) fog fluid without the scent of the original. I switch between the two when I want scent or no scent on a particular night. 5
