[0.785 lb] I made the switch to K-Tek a few years ago and never looked back, after being a loyal user of a longtime brand since the 90s. Where the other company hasn't really innovated much in the last 20 years, companies like K-Tek have come in with much better ways of making sound bags.

I had the previous generation of Stingray Small for a MixPre-10 II, and absolutely loved how easy it was to build out with a fully-loaded kit. When I purchased a Sound Devices 888, I knew I wanted to move to the new X-series of K-Tek bags for the improvements made. I ordered a Stingray Small X for the 888 and wanted to downsize the MixPre-10 II as a smaller, secondary kit for lighter projects. Enter the Stingray Junior X.

Smaller than other Stingray X bags, the Junior benefits from one of the biggest improvements made for the new line of bags: the threaded mounting points for antennae or other accessories. Like other X-series bags, it's been slimmed down just a bit from its predecessor, but it still offers plenty of space for a compact audio bag.

The Stingray Junior X easily accommodates a MixPre-10 II plus two Lectrosonics SRc receivers in the main compartment, plus a small BDS (Audioroot BG-DH MKII) and an IFB transmitter in the outer front pouch. There's ample space either inside the bottom flap or in the inner side pouches for a smart battery + cup.

The solid construction and rugged nature of the bag mean that I won't be looking for a new bag for a very long time.

[0.785 lb] Not only is this very durable and fit the zoom F6 perfectly, but it also allows for an NPF970 to fit too. It has a couple Molle straps on the front that I adapted with some bungie cords to be able to carry excess xlr cable for easier mobility. The shoulder/waist strap functions great and is plenty long, and has an elastic strap at the end to hold extra material. The clear plastic rain cover is handy, and easily folds back to not get in the way. Over all, well worth the wait, a fantastic product! And came back in stock just in time for my birthday, was a nice surprise!

[Black / Purple] I bought this for use with my brand new Mixpre 10ii. I was use to my Mixpre 6 with an orca OR-28 sound bag. The major issue with it for my was the form factor because it's is a little difficult to carry the bag in a bag pack. This one is larger but tinnier at the same time so there is no problem for carry it in that way. I just as a mod to the mole style attachment on the front cutting with a knife between them. Why? Because now I can use this attachment point with my uwpd receivers. Simple process.

As a location sound person and most of the time a one person sound team, having this contain my expendables, spare lavs, batteries, pens, flashlights and ability to get my mics off talent while I'm still tethered to a bag helps for speed. It doesn't flop open so everything is secure. The little belt strap is key. It secures it from slowly falling off my hips, like all tools bad go. I'm glad I purchased this. Had 2 - 12 hour day shoots to test it on. So worth it.

[0.785 lb] Really great bag. Numerous pockets offer countless storage options. All sides are easily accessible for cable management. The bag is sturdy and soft where need be. Loving the the threads on the front of the bag, where I'm able to mount antennae or other accessories, like my iPad mount or timecode generator.

[0.785 lb] I have been waiting for an audio bag like this for over 15 years! K-Tek has carefully thought about and implemented the needed features for this small product. All sides can quickly open to access mic inputs, time code, headphone jack, memory card, batteries, etc. The light weight bag can be easily worn on my shoulder or as a fanny pack after a very long recording day.

The recording sessions I get hired to do can be trekking through the woods (going through bushes on my hands and knees) to speeding and drifting inside a high performance car (experiencing a lot of Gs). The bag secures the F6 and makes it easy for me to record and manage an array of mics, mic cables, and my headphones. The bonus parts are the straps for extra accessories along with the very usable kick stand when recording on a table. I like this bag so much that I acquired a second one for another F6 recorder. For an upcoming TV show I will be traveling through remote locations to capture various ambience sounds. I can’t wait to venture into the thick woods wielding a machete in one hand, a mic in the other, and the small K-Tek F6 bag on my shoulder.

[0.785 lb] While it is great for the intended purpose, this fantastic little pouch has many "transferable skills" ... I mean, many possible uses. I have ear bus in one, an audio coupler and coil cable in another and really should buy more. Highly recommend!
