At the heart of the SRX900 Series acoustic design is JBL's proprietary Radiation Boundary Integrator, adapted from the groundbreaking VTX Series of line array loudspeakers. The RBI device mounts both the high- and low-frequency transducers on a single horn, improving horizontal directivity while reducing cabinet size. Precisely placed low-frequency projection apertures work in tandem with the high-frequency horn to seamlessly integrate the three symmetrically mounted drivers. The unusually large horn extends low-frequency control and reduces unwanted energy behind the array.

The fully integrated built-in amplifier and DSP are based on proven JBL technologies and explicitly packaged to fit the needs of the SRX900 Series. The DSP includes everything needed to optimize a system, including 24 user-adjustable filters, 2000ms of delay, and advanced features like array size compensation and FIR-based throw distance correction filters.

SRX900 Series line array loudspeakers are housed in FEA-optimized composite enclosures that offer excellent size-to-weight ratio and increased internal volume. CAD-optimized structure stiffeners control flexing, resulting in a rigid, lightweight enclosure. Speakers are designed for a clean, modern look, with enclosed side panels and integrated handles.

The SRX900 Series offers a complete system solution, including speakers, subwoofers, accessories, and software that support a variety of configurations and simplify storage, transport, and rigging. Because systems are scalable, it's easy to start with a small system and add components over time. All SRX900 products have been designed to work seamlessly with other JBL tour sound products, with common voicing targets and phase characteristics that ensure systems combine coherently.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. How much does it weigh?

A: like 21 lbs

Q: 2. TOA SR-HS3 recommended amplifier?

A: The Toa Electronics SR-H3S Slim Line Array Speaker - Long & Curved Version uses 360W RMS power at 8 ohms impedance. A compatible amplifier would first need to consider how many speakers need to be connected. In a scenario where one speaker is connected to each amplifier channel, a general rule of thumb is to provide around 20% more power than the speaker's RMS rating from the amplifier channel. In this scenario, an amplifier providing around 450W at 8 ohms from each output channel would be ideal.

Q: 3. Does it come with a power supply?

A: Yes. The JBL Control 2P speaker package comes with a power supply.

Q: 4. what is the weight of this poduct?

A: The JBL EON712 comes in at 32.19 lbs.

Q: 5. Would this pair require two separate power cables?

A: Yes, each speaker within the Yamaha MSP3A Powered Speaker Kit (Pair) will require its own power cable and connection.

Q: 6. Is this speaker good for just jamming out outside in a cookout? and is it a better buy than an ION PA 500W

A: Yes, the JBL IRX112BT can be used for live vocals, instruments, speaking or playing recorded music. It is a better quality speaker than those from ION.

Q: 7. Hi if I get power outage they will keep performing right I do party but many power issues Thks

A: No, the JBL EON715 Two-Way 15" 1300W Powered Portable PA Speaker with Bluetooth and DSP will not continue functioning in the event they lose power.

Q: 8. Are the inputs electrically isolated from another? I have a keyboard with right and left 1/4 outputs (stereo) and would like to connect both to the speaker by using two inputs

A: Each speaker has RCA plug in. You will need two stereo y-cable with 1/4 mini male one end and the other end with RCA ends. Wonderful Speaker really enjoy them.

Q: 9. Can you connect these speakers directly to a DJ mixer with XLR cables?

A: Yes, the JBL IRX112BT Compact Powered 12" Portable Speaker with Bluetooth can receive a direct cable connection from a DJ mixer's XLR outputs to its combo XLR-1/4" Mic/Line inputs.

Q: 10. Do you have to charge the speaker or do need direct power

A: It takes direct power all time

[1x Each Side] I work with a variety of clients who have vastly different Audio needs. I paired this sub with some LSR’s and have been very pleased. Whether it’s a singer/songwriter with an acoustic guitar and vocals or EDM/club music, this setup is very adaptable. Just give your speakers some space away from hard reflective surfaces and enjoy! One note - I wish there was a protective grille; it would just give me some piece of mind.

[66 lb] Monitors by itself are good enough for small rooms, but if you have a bigger room, a sub is a must. It fills out the bottom frequencies and nicely rounds up the sound. Perfect for a 2.1 home cinema setup. Best matching seems to be with JBL LSR 305. If you have 308, the bass might become overpowering.

[+6 dBu] Bought this for my small home music studio and I couldn’t be happier. I went from an 8” sub that at the time I felt did the job to this beast and there’s no comparison, It’s night and day. I also use my set up for everyday music listening and it’s made that even more enjoyable. This sub is huge! Much larger then I anticipated. It hits really hard for hip hop BUT I’m someone who loves bass in classic rock and I love how this sub compliments rock music. I can’t compare it to pricier subs since I’ve never been in a position to hear one but what I can say is that this one for its price is worth every penny. Very impressed.

[Black] I ordered this a few weeks after I received my 3 series monitors. I found the 3 series excellent and didn't want to disrupt the sound of them but I did find the low end while good wasn't what I wanted in my system. After some long consideration of this device I made the buy.

I couldn't be happier with the subwoofer. Its tight and responsive and doesn't muddle the image that the 3 series monitors cast so well. I did find that I needed to adjust the levels of the sub down quite a bit to avoid over doing it in my room. However that is not a flaw in the device but rather just a message on the size and power of this device. It does a great job at roughly half the power output setting on the knob than I have on my monitors.

Overall very powerful and really like it. Definitely worth the investment to fill the room with extreme low end.

[105° H] I bought this subwoofer to enhance my current JBL 305P MkII speakers. The sound produced is sweet. Deep, round bass and powerful to boot. Quite satisfied with my purchase at sale price.

[48 kHz / 24-Bit] It's a big one but paired with the 305s it works nicely. Placement is really important. Happy I waited for it to come on sale.

[Black] Unpacked and connected, didn't have to adjust anything. Plugged my studio monitors to the outputs of the sub, then monitoring system out to the sub inputs, hit play and go. Sub has a higher wattage than most, higher price, but I waited until it was on sale. I did consider other active subwoofers, but this one has a larger woofer, and flexible in's and out's, and is tuned to match my JBL 5" studio nearfields. Great item!!

[Black] Used this product in a number of difficult acoustic situations. Very effective in highly reverberant spaces. Some bone head rocker sound people who don't get physics have no idea how these work so a scared of them 'because they don't have a horn'. Don't listen to those idiots - these speakers are great, and designed by one of the best speaker engineers that has ever lived!

[Class-D] I just installed two of these, along with suitable wall treatments, in a gymnasium that was converted into a church auditorium. They perform great. The variable beam width and asymmetrical vertical pattern put the sound where I needed it and kept it off the walls and ceiling. Their size doesn't make them look like speaker arrays - they almost disappear into the room.
I added the low frequency extensions to fill out the spectrum. They ARE NOT rock concert speakers.
When properly installed in a space, they are a perfect solution to difficult sound control situations.
I would install them again in the proper application!

So called experts who diss them don't know what they are doing.
