[0.645 lb] Works perfectly with the Sony 90mm G OSS macro and the a6000 body. The thinner ring is required for that lens though due to the thicker throat of the Sony 90mm macro. Balances perfectly on a flat surface or tripod after it's installed. Only complaint is the long screw can get in the way of the lens lock button & grip depending on hand size. That's an easy fix simply by unscrewing the collar from the base plate and installing it backwards if the long screw gets in your way. All in all it's a quality product that does it's job properly. Holds my lens & a6000 body with zero wobble on a flat surface or tripod

[0.645 lb] I use this collar with some heavy Nikon glass with a Novoflex adapter. The bias of the foot to one side helps compensate for the natural unbalance with the NEX-7 attached. The handy screw (mounted upside down from the shown image) is perfect and quickly allows position change from horizontal to vertical perspective.

[2.3 in / 59 mm] I wasted money buying the knock off. This collar holds the Sony 70-300 perfectly! It is securely holding the lens and doesn't loosen or slide off the back of the lens. I shoot insects so my rig is often pointed down and I have had zero issues with this on my Manfrotto monopod.

In my case, it works very well with the fittings etc., on the Monfrotto 486RC2 8 ball swivel or the Monfrotto 322RC2 swivel pistol grip to the Gitzo GT3533LS Gitzo tripod.
Could have asked for nothing better.

[0.645 lb] The Novaflex adapter has let me use my wonderful really old Pentax M42 50mm macro lens again, on my Panasonic GF1 and GH2. With the crop factor of 2, the lens becomes a 100 mm in 35mm terms, a very convenient focal length for macro work. The build quality on the adapter is excellent.

[0.645 lb] I had a similar experience as the first reviewer. I did not find that the Voightlander was loose, but did notice that there was not a distinct click when the adapter was mounted on the camera. I did not realize that I would need to use a piece of plastic to hold the aperture of the lens open with the Voightlander, while the Novaflex has a ring on the outside that lets you adjust the aperture manually. I was afraid that the little snippit of credit card wedged in the aperture control of the lens might some day work loose and scratch the sensor on my G1, so I decided to go with the Novaflex. The machining on the inside doesn't look perfect, but the adapter fits snugly and functions perfectly.

[0.645 lb] I use this mount to hold a heavy macro lens on a Rayqual Nikon F to Sony E adapter. It fits the Rayqual adapter beautifully with a couple wraps of teflon plumbing tape under it.

[0.645 lb] The collar adds a muchly improved mounting point for the SL and the 24-90 lens combination. It is not necessary for the 90-280 since it comes with a robust, non-QR mounting point but can be used instead of the standard mount. It worked well with my Novoflex and Gitzo QR's.
