[USB Bus Power] I love this card reader. Having the ability to choose between a USB-C interface and a USB-A with the same reader is fantastic and super convenient. I tried it in a Mac and a pc and it shows up immediately for both interfaces. I also love the small form factor. Being the size of a regular thumb drive means I can store it anywhere. And no need for cables, just plug it directly in to the computer and you are ready to transfer data very easily. The ability to read SD and Micro sd makes it even more versatile. No need for a microSD adapter. This might sound silly, but I also love that it comes with a keychain lanyard that can clip on and off. That's great. I plan on having one of these for all my camera bags, so I'm ready for transferring footage wherever I go. [I have received this product in exchange for my honest review]

[0.095 lb] Thumb drive size card reader. Happy with the transfer rate for GoPro as it transferred advertised speed for my microSD. Got it for travel use and 3.1 USB reader seems like a plus for the price.

[USB Bus Power] The Xcellon Dual usb 3.1 card reader is a fast compact card reader that gives you the flexibility to use the USB A or USB C interfaces.

It's about the size of a thumb drive so you can just toss it in your bag or case and not worry about it taking up much space.

It's built well and should hold up to day-to-day use and some abuse. I like that it does regular and micro sd cards. It's a great addition to my laptop.

[USB Bus Power] This card reader is very convenient and I never had a card reader that offers both, USB Type-A Male, USB Type-C Male USB 3.1 / 3.2 in one piece. Pretty cool.

It also features a Micro SD card slot, which for me, it's very convenient, and the fact that it doesn't have any cables like most of my card readers do. With this one, you just plug it in nice and clean.

Also, the Micro SD card slot, some adapters I've seen, they don't lock the card in. This Xcellon card reader does. Fully insert the Micro SD card and it will securely lock it in just like a GoPro camera would.

Comparing to other card readers I have, this Xcellon card reader performs just as good. Keep in mind that, the speed /performance will vary depending on what SD CARD and MICRO SD card you have.
If you have a fast capable card, the card reader will perform very well.

Before inserting cards, observe the correct way to insert (see pictures I attached with this review)

This device works straight out of the box, the price is very affordable and it does what I expect it to do, plus I can choose to flip either side...USB3 or USB-C.

[USB Bus Power] If you are looking for a portable, versatile card reader the Xcellon Dual USB 3.1 Car Reader is the perfect choice. The ability to quickly upload or download files to and from VIA standard USB 3.1 or a USB Type-C port makes this little wonder perfect, especially considering the reasonable price. While it does not have a slot for CF cards it's more than adequate for SD and microSD cars (and honestly, I don't really use many CF cards anymore). It's light, well-built and highly recommended.
