The Quasar Science Q-Lion Q5 LED Light 7" Universalfrom Quasar Science Q-Lion Q5 LED Light 7" Universalis a portable, battery-operated, 7" bi-color LED tube light, useful for creating fill and accents in both still imaging and video-based applications. It is a compact turnkey lighting solution, serving as a toolbelt staple for set lighting technicians, camera teams, art departments, and independent online content creators alike. It is great for lighting everything from actors to craft services, especially when space is at a minimum.

Compact and lightweight, the Q5 may be mounted via the 3/8"-16 socket or simply stuck in place on metal surfaces with its magnetic base. This LED light features single-button operation and the button is recessed to prevent accidental setting changes.

The integrated lithium-ion battery can operate the Q5 linear LED for up to 4 hours at 100% output. The built-in battery level indicator allows the remaining charge to be monitored. The rechargeable battery is charged with the included multi-voltage AC charger via a micro-USB port, and the lamp may be used while charging. Note: the light will not charge on a standard 5V USB charger. The light features a kill switch to disable battery operation for travel.

Scroll through preset output levels of 100%, 75%, 50%, 25%, 10%, and off for quick and easily repeatable setups. Output is flicker-free below 1/500th of a second at any output level, and 1/2000th of a second at maximum output.

[25,000 Hours] These have been around for a while now and they're still great, especially when you can get them on sale.They are so handy to have. I have a few. Three color temps, five dim settings and you can plug them in now as well. The strong magnets help make them quick to use in many circumstances. And you can get egg crates for them to boot! 5

[12 VDC] Maybe you need a small work light that stays in your shipping case or maybe you find that every now and then you wish you could put some small controllable light in the back ground of a intv setup.. This is really great for just that.. Ether a back ground element in a intv or if you want to place it inside a practical lamp and control the color or level this is small and basically hand size that you can place it any were. Maybe you need a dash light in a car interior for a quick few clips of someone driving or in the back seat. Or an eye light on the camera its really hand size and I find that I use it a lot more than I thought I would now I have a quick small light with 5600K to 3200. 4 settings to dim.. 5

[12 VDC] I shoot everything from blue-chip natural history to documentary to smaller commercials and these lights have proven themselves in all environments I've thrown at them. Great as a backlight, perfect for macro work, fantastic interview light when coupled with a natural practical, and the magnetized back makes setup lightning-quick. [12 VDC] I've been addicted to using a bar-style LED light on my remote shoots since I bought a relatively cheap one over a decade ago. In tight, awkward situations, like over a restaurant grill or fryer station, for instance, it was the primary light source. This Q10 is much brighter, better shaped for stability, magnet-equipped and the perfect length for taking over in these situations, a well as ideal for filling in under subjects and in the weird, dark angles larger lighting can't cover. 5
