A: Not easily. Devices like this use embedded audio. The audio is embedded onto video. Without video, there is no audio. So . . . you'd have to have SDI video going in, and you'd have to take the output of your audio console and embed it into the video. All said . . . you probably need a different device for your needs.

A: The bare item alone is approx. 15 x 12 x 4 . The dimensions of the Behringer packaging box is approx. 19.5 x 15 x 6.5 . The B&H packaging box in which the Behringer box was shipped measures approx. 22 x 18.5 x 10.5 . Unfortunately, I cannot accurately weigh the item.

A: No, the StudioLogic SL MIXFACE Control Surface for DAWs will not control a Blackmagic Design ATEM switcher. The SL Mixface specifies control capabilities for specific audio DAWs such as Ableton Live, Apple GarageBand, Apple Logic Pro X, and Avid Pro Tools among others.

A: No, the JVC Desktop vMix Studio Switcher Control Surface is designed to be used specifically with vMix.

A: All ATEM switchers are compatible with Mackie protocol USB control. The Behringer unit will be compatible and control fader movements. [8] This is a direct replacement for an Avid S3 fader. Very simple to replace, though it didn't include any documentation. Take the cap off the bad fader and remove the 2 screws holding it in. Turn the S3 over Be especially careful when you turn the S3 over to access the rear plate. I folded a clean bath towel over several times and gently placed it on to work on. Unscrew and remove the bottom plate, you may need to pry the plate slightly with a thin tool, take out the loose fader, gently unplug it, plug the new one in. I recommend screwing it in from the top before you replace the bottom plate. then reverse disassembly. When you power it up it the new fader should now be working.

[8] Have only used the X-Keys Controller for about a week now but it has greatly improved the workflow. Set up was as easy as it gets, just plug and play. Also, I really like the fact that it auto colour codes each channel strip in Wirecast. So far an awesome product!

[+48 V] Media Composer still wins over the newer options. The biggest plus in media composer is that the workflow makes you do a more professional job as other software where one is seduced into sloppy dragging and dropping and quick fixes. A benefit is also that for each step one wants to take there are many many options on how to get there, resulting in a very individual/artistic way of solving problems. Also the media composer and it file storage system is the most stable when compared.

[26 Fader] A must have if you're doing serious audio work in Resolve. The faders have a nice feel and the jog/shuttle wheel is great. This has far more capabilities than I've even begun to explore.

[+48 V] I've been using protools for about 10 years in my recording studio and I think is the best software for record, edit and mix music. I got this version for working in my laptop and now I can work everywhere. The native plug ins woks very well and you can get others of your preference that run well too. For shure I will continue using protools in the future.
