The Secced 2-Stage Tripod Leg Adjustment Handleis designed to replace the bottom stage leg adjustment handle on a Secced 2-stage tripod system. When the handle is opened, freely adjust the height of the tripod legs. Closing the handle secures the legs at the appropriate height and locks them into place.

A: This is a universal ground spreader for any tripod that has spiked feet, so if your tripod has this feature, then it will work.

A: The tripod spreader and legs work much better. The QR plate changed from a top release to a Manfrotto standard. The head's settings are more precise.

A: With these two heads, the build quality is good on both so really the difference is the capacity. Personally, I like more capacity for I find it makes for smoother moves.

[0.045 lb] I bought this because it is compatible with Sachtler 100mm ball legs, and it fits as if made for them. (Note--it will not fit my old 75mm ball Sachtler legs which have different dimensions for clamping to the feet.) It's made of plastic but seems good enough to last if not handled carelessly. It could certainly be broken at the center three way hinge if it gets twisted hard beyond its intended range of motion. This can happen if you open or close the legs in a way that is well out of symmetry, but I know to avoid this. This weak link holds the true for similar spreaders by other brands including the light spreaders for Sachtler 75mm legs. I give five stars because it works well at a fraction of the price of any Sachtler brand spreader. 5

[0.045 lb] I took a long time to dcide which tripod to buy for my C300 Mark II. Actually you can see my question on the Q&A section. Now after some months using the Benro BV10 I got to say that is a sturdy and fluid tripod. It works great, and comparing it with other tripods with the same specs is a great option in terms of value. 5
