Add a wireless intercom system to your web chats with the Eartec HUB with Global Connect 2-Person Full-Duplex Wireless Intercom over IP with 2 Dual-Ear UltraLITE Headsets. The system provides a custom cable assembly for smartphones along with a USB sound card for computers and lets you easily add 2 wireless headsets with a range of up to 1200' to your Zoom, Teams, Skype, or similar conferencing apps. Additional headsets can be added to accommodate up to 8 remote users.

The UltraLITE headsets have the transceiver built right inside the earcup, eliminating headset wires and belt-worn radios. They provide two-way voice communication and the microphone arm can swivel 270°, allowing you to wear the mic on the left or right side. Raising the mic boom into the up position automatically mutes the microphone.

A: Unfortunately it does not pair with a wired system.

Q: 2. Are these water resistant? Can you upgrade the battery for longer use?

A: No, the Eartec components are not water resistant. At this time Eartec does not offer a higher-capacity battery, but you can purchase additional batteries for the headsets and HUB which is the Eartec Rechargeable 3.7V Lithium-Ion Battery for UltraLITE & HUB Systems (B&H # EALX600LI).

Q: 3. Has anyone used the USA version in the EU? We run 6 productions in the USA and two in the EU per year and i dont want to have to buy two seperate sets if it can be avoided i know that in the EU the band is 1880 - 1900 while in USA its 1920 - 1930 would i be interfering with something else in 1920 space in EU ?

A: Yes, you may be interfering with other wireless signals if used in the EU. This product is intended for use in the the United States only. It's not intended for use outside of the United States. We do not recommend using this product outside of the USA.

Q: 4. Can I use in South Korea?

A: For South Korea, you would want the version with the EU frequencies, BH #EAUL4SEU.

Q: 5. if i buy the 5 person duplex does that already come with hub or do i have to buy that separately?

A: This system does not come with a hub, but it does come with one master headset. It will work as is, out of the box without the additional hub.

Q: 6. I'm in Canada. Is there a kit for use here?

A: The USA model works fine in Canada.

Q: 7. Do you have this set for EUROPE?

A: No, we do not offer a European version of this system.

Q: 8. How can I tighten my microphone? It all of a sudden got very loose and it just falls down when I try to mute it

A: That will depend on if the 1920-1930 mhz band is legal to use in El Salvador. We suggest confirming that with your local government before purchasing the units.

[1.73 GHz] Another advantage is that we can add to this as our team grows or even go to the Hub for including other backstage techs. Just one little thing that would be good - small buds instead of overear for our feminine, hair conscious members. Maybe even a bud port in the EarTech.... 5

[Headband] I purchased this for my Production Team. It's the perfect solution for communication during live events and there is literally no setup needed. I turned them on and they just started working. Very easy to use. The buttons are simple and effective. The headsets are lightweight yet durable. The volume adjustment has a good range. The microphones have a noise gate of some sorts which is nice for when it's loud in the room (live music and such) but it doesn't seem to pick up quieter talking as well. At this point, it doesn't seem to be a big issue. I highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a cost effective and simple solution to communicating with your camera team during live events. 5

[GFSK] We previously had used the comstar package and we periodically had problems with our headsets breaking. Usually it would be the mouthpiece breaking, and we would have to send them back to be fixed. Not to mention they were very bulky and we constantly were having to check if our coms were on/tell others that their coms were left on. The Hub headsets have a much smaller form factor and are much lighter on the head. We really like that it will automatically mute when you put the mouth piece up. Makes it so most of our communication isn't telling others to turn their com off. It has been great thus far! 5

[ADPCM] For a couple of years, we used handheld radios with wires. Our team didn't like the wires as it is normally tugged during work. This wireless system is so seamless and keeps everyone on the same page. It adds 10x the production value. 5
