[0.27 lb] The Haida Clear-Night filter eliminated the brown haze of light pollution in my astro photographs.
Just used it to capture Mars and the Milky Way and it worked.

I live in a rural area without street lights, however there is enough glow in the east from nearby towns to cause problems for astro-photography. The Haida Clear-Night solved the problem.

[0.27 lb] After going through the reviews and comparisons, I decided to go with the Haida Clear Night filter. I bought the 67mm for use with my Sony 24mm f1.4 GM. First test was at Ft. Griffin which is a very dark site but you still get some light pollution on the horizon. What made me a believer in this filter was when I a couple photos, both with and without filter, as I was setting up. A quick view in the evf showed a dramatic difference between the two shots. As some have said, you do get more blue cast to the night sky, but I really like that look. And I can warm up whichever elements I want should I want to do that. All told a really nice LP filter. I liked it so much I purchased a 77mm version for other lenses.

[0.27 lb] Used it on a normal nighttime city shoot. Worked great. No color cast. Quality materials. Recommended.

[0.27 lb] Used this filter for the first time on a trip to England, Scotland, and Wales. Had a number of opportunities to use this filter. Shot both with the filter on and with it off my 24-120 f/4 s Nikon lens. While the images without the filter looked good I could see an improvement in the clarity of the images taken with the filter on. It seemed to do a good job of filtering out some of the ambient noise. It also adds a little color to the image that I find very pleasing changing you images from a standard night scene into something much more creative. You do have to remember to take it off when you switch to daylight shooting.
