[Yes] It opens vertical and portrait position, cushion is ok. high quality material. Handle and small pocket for cable/chargers. Fits up to a 14. Maybe a very slim 15. Doesn't fit a 16 MacBook Pro. 5

[Black] I've owned several sleeves and this is by far the best I've owned. The protection is excellent, even at the zipper. The external storage pocket is super handy and has a tiny pocket inside for SD cards or similar. The handle lets me carry this like a brief case, so I rarely us my laptop backpack anymore. Buy this one. Trust me. 5

[Handheld Only] Love this sleeve! I know its for laptop but it seems perfect for the large 12.9 iPad Pro Such a perfect in-between for those that want a durable cushioned case that isn't bulky yet pretty large storage for your charger, ear pods etc. The padding is much beefier and firmer than I expected, yet the flexibility this softcase squeezes just right in an already stuffed backpack. (a hard shell case would be a pain to zip up). The zippers are very tough grade. Great for the grab and go to the coffeeshop or nature trail. Very happy with it. I haven't found another ipad case that offers the build quality and design . 5
