A: I am not really a computer guy -- I use my Mac at home, kinda like if it were a tablet. I usually do not use it for more than 2 hr. periods, but it has never given me any problems. I love the case -- have never even considered that the mac might overheat. Sorry I cannot provide better info. I will say that I also use a Sony Viao for work, and I frequently hear the fan going like crazy and the laptop, itself, feels very hot. the mac never behaves like that, and just runs faster and better than anything else.

A: I have personally had many Twelve South products, and twice had an issue. In both cases their support was impeccable. Within minutes of contacting them, and sending my invoice I had an RMA. I highly recommend contacting them (http://bit.ly/1OF1uMn) about your zipper issue.

A: Hi,I have had my BookBook case for my MacBook Pro for a year and a half, and it has been wonderful...never given me any problems and it still looks as great as when I first got it. As far as ventilation goes, it does stay warm, but honestly, I have never had any problems with my Macbook getting too warm with this case, and I use my computer non-stop for my business...I cannot report any issues, and I would highly recommend this case...

[Clear] simple and clean case. I liked it because it does have the black rubber feet, not white like other cases and it does not have those vents on the bottom cover like others as well. It has a smooth bottom cover with no vents. But it is slippery when holding. 5

[1.05 lb] This case is well made and fits perfectly. Once its snapped on it is securely attached and after a month of use shows no signs of getting loose. I would like it more if it had a more grippy feel. Its not slick but it doesn't have that rubber feel that some cases I have had in the past. Still, I'm satisfied with the case and would buy it again. 5

[1.05 lb] I really like the look of the case, as well as the material. I feel That it gives better protection over the plastics because od the soft cushion to absorb the shock if it were dropped. I also like tha flip open design where you can work right from the case for quick email or so. I would take it out for longer taske so it won’t heat up your computer. Obvious 5
