[40 Minutes] Was about to go DJI and deal with the Geofencing but it was suggested to me by another pilot that I rake a look at the Autel Evo. As an aside I do own an Autel code reader (OBD 2-3) and it works flawless but I wasn't very familiar with the EVO. Glad I looked at the specs and performance reviews because I purchased one from B&H. They were on backorder and I did wait over a month for it but it was every bit worth the wait for a pro-sumer drone with no Geofencing. I prefer to not have the 'big brother' watching over me constantly and not allowing me to fly because of supposedly restricted air space.


I believe in following FAA regs and I do but not having the built in (and memory intensive Geofencing is fine with me.


The EVO is very easy to fly, is very quiet for a drone of this size and flight time for me, while not at the touted 30 minutes, is close at 25 minutes.


I bought the 'Rugged Bundle' which comes with an airline transport grade case and all the compartments inside are laser cut for secure fit of the drone, controller, extra batteries, props and even a compartment in the bottom for my tablet.


The drone itself is very well made and should last for many hours of flight time plus Autel is very customer friendly to deal with should an issue arise. They are there 24/7 to answer questions unlike DJI.


I'm very impressed with the drone overall. \\I will use it primarily for recreation but I will also shoot documentaries, consequently, I have to hold a professional license.

[12.75 V] I had considered Autel vs DJI, and I'm very pleased I chose Autel. The drone has performed perfectly. The app is polished and I've had zero issues with the drone transmission feed or controls. The return to home feature is very nice when the battery gets low. I took the drone out on a breezy day and had it perform an orbit and the video was beautifully smooth. It was neat to watch the drone counter the breeze when taking off by tilting itself slightly into the breeze. The drone software doesn't treat you like an irresponsible child and ground or limit you, such as with DJI's geofencing. Operating the drone safely is the pilot's responsibility, and I'm very pleased that Autel treats customers with respect in that regard...so far.


I couldn't be happier with this drone, it's performed even better than I expected after watching lots of videos before buying.


In my opinion, the premium kit is the way to go. It includes a nice carrying case, neutral density filters (essential for sunny days), and 3 batteries, among other things. During the day I've been using the Neutral Density 8 filter (there are 4 strengths to choose from in the 4-filter kit) with fantastic results. The video looks like it was shot from a helicopter with a fancy camera. Everyone who's seen my videos talks about the quality and smoothness. It's not me, the drone makes it effortless.

[3 S / 11.13 V] It seems to work as well or better than the DJI drone A2s.
The warranty is great . They fixed my drone that hit a wrecking ball at 100ft high. And they gave me all this extra stuff like 2 extra batteries $250 with of stuff .

[0.8 lb] This was a huge buy. The drone is a great replacement for DJI and the staff was great help.
