Q: 2. Is there a way to connect Sony RM-IP500 and use one of Tricaster SDI outputs to monitor camera selected on RM-IP500 panel?

A: We are not aware that the Vizrt TriCaster TC1 (2 RU) would support this configuration. Also the RM-IP500 does not have an SDI input or show the camera view on it's built in screen.

Q: 3. Can this switcher create a picture-in-picture effect from 2 video sources?

A: Yes, picture in picture will be supported.

A: The NewTek TriCaster TC410 Plus can accommodate up to 8 inputs. You are able to mix and match SDI and NDI sources to make up the 8 inputs.

Q: 9. Can the 4 mini DisplayPort outputs be used as 4 independent Aux outs to send to HDMI monitors/MV/IMG etc?

A: The Mini display ports on the Vizrt TriCaster Mini X HDMI Bundle would only be used for connecting Displays that would offer the Tricaster interface. Monitor Outputs 4 x mini display port with output adapters 3 x of the outputs support multiviewers using standard display resolutions

[1 Year] I have two systems of these Spark transmiter /reciever set, they work great, the only thing that I would like to change is the battery life...it is to short, to go through a complete streaming event. To fix this I purchased a power bank and I connect it to the usb port in the transmiter...it works very well. 5

[1 Year] I purchased the Mini4k in August of 2020, along with two additional BirdDog Flex 4k Inputs. I had a long learning curve, because I had never used TriCaster before, and also because I had never dealt with networks or NDI before. This little box is amazing, I love it. It has limitations, but the bottom line is that it is super powerful and it is a luxury to have so many feature built in that simply work. A real sleeper. Not sure why it isn't super popular. The audio card died on mine, but it is so easy to integrate a USB audio interface, NDI or Dante, it's not really a big deal. Vizrt continues to support and upgrade the software, so that is a real plus. 5

[1 Year] Officially Teradek says there is less that 1 millisecond of delay but I couldn't see any delay with my eyes. This is a big step up from other wireless kits from folks like Hollyland that claim .08 seconds but in reality it's more than like twice that. This really doesn't have any latency. The feed is so instant that you can pull focus with the Spark 4k. Even though they don't exactly bill this as a system to pull focus. They seem to be pushing this as more of a live stream or event solution. However wireless video systems designed specifically to pull focus are so incredibly expensive but I'm happy to say you can use this in your regular video production shoots to pull focus without issue. The other big selling point for me was the quality of the actual video stream you get. You can get up to 4k 30fps 10bit 4.2.2 in the actual stream. Again, this is a big step up from most system that only offer 1080p 60fps max with video quality that is just terrible. I am not a wireless video guru so the fact that these were so incredibly easy to get up and running sealed the deal for me. Literally just turned on both units and they automatically synced up. No extra button presses to get things running. Nothing to really setup in any menus. Just turn them one, briefly wait and your video signal is flowing. 5

[1 Year] I love this set of Transiers. Very easy to setup and run. In fact, no setup is required! Pairing is almost instantaneous. They do get hot during use and the internal fan is quite. 5

[1 Year] If you have a Tricaster, these are the way to go! We have both Birddog converters and Spark I/O's, and the Spark I/O's always sync on a boot up where as the birddogs do not. 5
