A: While I have yet to use this item in a 220 volt outlet, I bought it with my Rebel T3 for that possibility. The following is a direct quote from the Canon product literature: Battery Charger LC-E10 (included with camera; like all Canon chargers, its multi-voltage, so its good to go for international travel all thats needed is a plug adapter, not a voltage converter). [3 x 2 x 0.01"] While I wasn't a fan of the cost at first, this is certainly a product where we are getting what we paid for. Cars and trucks of all sizes run over these cables all the time while we are trying to set things up, and after a year, the cables still look new- no signs of damage or even wear. They have sat outside for over a month at a time, in the rain and snow (minus the ends), and they just work great. 5
