A unique masterpiece of craftsmanship, the Mint SLR670-X ZERO Instant Camerafrom Mint SLR670-X ZERO Instant Camerais a meticulously constructed image-making tool. Drawn from the design of the Polaroid SX-70 instant camera, each camera takes hours to complete. Artisans carefully select the best quality original cameras, then carefully dismantle and reconstruct the units, replacing parts such as the motherboard and light sensor. They then affix the brown leather and stamp the ZERO logo as a seal of approval. Each camera is a masterpiece of the individual artisan's efforts and a culmination of the heart and soul they have put into creating it.

The SLR670-X ZERO features a 116mm f/8 glass lens with a four element design and a ground glass manual focusing wheel. Together with the red shutter button and brown leather, this makes this camera faithful to the creative spirit of the classic Polaroid SX-70. That’s especially helpful as it will allow you to adjust for different lighting conditions, too. The version of the Time Machine included as part of the SLR670-X even includes a 2.5mm flash sync port for connecting the camera to an external flash. [1.88 lb] Mint has made shooting Polaroid integral film into a much more controlled and creative endeavor! I own several folding Polaroid SLRs (SX-70, Alpha 1, Sonar, SLR680)...but, the Mint SLR 670 is by far my favorite of the bunch!

[f/8] The first SLR670-S I bought was from B&H and had a viewing screen problem, possibly due to a hard drop during shipping somewhere. B&H had no more in stock and with a trip coming up soon I decided to go to directly to Mint and that camera is working out great. It is not an inexpensive camera but with the manual adjustments and accurate auto metering it at least helps pay for itself in much reduced film waste. The main reason I bought the camera was I love the look of the Impossible Projects (Now Polaroid Originals) B&W film and being able to adjust the camera manually allows an additional level of creativity. The camera also looks very nice. Now to the B&H return of my payment for the first camera, - it was fast and I was updated every step of the way. It was also easy to do online. I have been buying from B&H for many many years and will continue to do so.

[1.88 lb] I never used an instant film camera before and I have always been digital camera user (SONY and Nikon). No doubt RF70 is the best Polaroid camera I've seen! It's just amazing. The best thing of RF70 is the aperture control, and excellent shallow depth of field. I am very happy and having fun shooting with it.

[Optical] I’ve used 5 different Instax Wide cameras (Fuji 300, Lomo, Toyo 4x5, Polaroid Land 450, RF70), and this is by far the best handheld option.

Framing takes a while to get used to, but the lens is sharp and moderately fast. Only complaint is it only seems to work with alkaline batteries and not rechargeable—even really powerful lithium. But overall great. Both auto and manual work well.

[Optical] I bought Instantflex TL70 about half year ago, I truly fell in love with it, I love its vintage outlook, I love its function, and then I go and figure out more about MiNT, and found this gem, their signature camera MiNT SLR670-S. This is a modified vintage camera, a true vintage from 1970s. But to my surprised, when I open the box, the camera looks like new. It offers 2 auto modes, A100 and A600, both are very easy to use, just focus and shoot and the result is awesome. And then it offers a range of manual shutter speed, including 1/2000. The manual shutter speed is very useful if the lighting in the environment is complicated. I would recommend this camera to everyone who loves Polaroid!

[1/4"-20 Female] The Mint InstantKon RF70 is, for me, the optimal combination of quality and convenience for shooting Instax film. I can get more quality and character from my 4x5 camera with Lomograflok Instax back, but that is a time-consuming process and obviously impossible for handheld use. The InstantKon RF70 has a high-quality lens: sharp with pleasing bokeh at wide apertures. Build quality is decent: definitely superior to Fuji's Instax cameras. Be aware that the rangefinder and viewfinder are separate, so shooting is not quite as fast in actual use as it would be with a combined rangefinder / viewfinder. My copy sometimes needs a little help ejecting the dark slide from the film pack: cutting or removing the tape at the top of the film pack solves the problem. I love using the camera and am very pleased with the results.

[1.88 lb] MiNT's RF70 is one of the most clever and fun new camera designs I can think of. Excellent shallow depth of field. Love this instant film camera

[1/4"-20 Female] I have several SX-70 in good shape, but the restoration process by Mint is amazing. And the Time Machine is a great way to have full control of the camera.

[f/8] Rock Star Instant Camera

I've used this camera for about five weeks and am happy with it. I have control over exposure via the shutter speed dial and I can also shoot with studio strobe (note that flash (studio strobe) sync speed is 1/30th of a second, which I have tested. 1/60th may work but I have not yet tested it). I've discovered that 1/125th of a second sync speed is too fast and yields poor results.

Pros:

1) Control over exposure

2) Can shoot 600 or SX-70 film

3) External strobe sync

4) SLR so viewfinder shows you what you get

Cons:

1) This is a delicate instrument

2) f/8 is the only aperture

Recommendations:

Use Frog tongue

After shooting a frame and the film ejects, wait 30 seconds with the film under the frog tongue. Then transfer the frame to your camera bag so it can develop in the dark

Make sure film is at recommended temperatures. I've shot film at too high a temperature and results were not what I wanted

To connect camera strap, buy these: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/736105-REG/OP_TECH_USA_1301082_System_Connectors_Mini_QD.html

To connect to external strobe, buy this: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/317225-REG/Comprehensive_SMPS_MJS_Stereo_3_5mm_Mini_Female.html

To attach filters and tele lens, buy the retrograde engineering Polaroid SX-70 37mm Lens Adapter ' SX-37

I recommend the following case: Case Logic VNA210 10.2-Inch Netbook/iPad Attache

Tele lens: ULTIMAXX 37mm 2.2x Professional HD Telephoto Anti-Reflection Lens

[Manual Focus] I actually have a few SX-70 cameras, but no doubt this is the best one I've had.

I usually got failed photos (wrong exposure, blurry images) with my original SX-70 because the fastest shutter speed is only 1/175. Very frustrated!

After using SLR670-S Classic, things have changed. The aperture is fixed at f/8 --great depth of field. (You can see the first photo I shoot in a cafe) It was 1/30 with color 600 film. Accurate exposure, sharp image! No more failed photos!!!

The condition of the camera is great.
Thanks MiNT:') Such a great camera!
