Effortlessly stream up to four sources—even a studio condenser mic or an electric guitar—to your online audience in high resolution with the IK Multimedia iRig Stream Pro, an ultracompact 4x2 audio interface designed for plug-and-play compatibility with smartphones, tablets, and computers. Equally useful for musicians, podcasters, and social media video creators, the iRig Stream Pro features straightforward connections and simple controls for refreshing ease of use.

A single XLR-1/4" combo input with +48V phantom power accommodates a mic or instrument. The interface's stereo RCA input lets you hook up a feed from a DJ mixer, mixing console, keyboard, or drum machine. And its 3.5mm TRRS port lets you talk over the stereo input when you connect a headset, headphones with a built-in mic, or other IK Multimedia device such as the iRig Mic Lav, iRig Mic, or iRig Pre (all available separately). There's also a loopback function that merges your device's output with the iRig Stream Pro's input and routes it back to your device—perfect for singing/jamming along to a backing track or narrating a video.

Rig Stream Pro makes it easy to connect all your audio sources and route them to a streaming or recording app. Connect your favorite studio microphone or guitar via the XLR-1/4" combo jack, mix in DJ decks or a keyboard via the stereo RCA inputs, then connect your earbuds to listen back, and add another sound of your choice through the bonus mic/line input. You can even route in the output of your smartphone, tablet, or laptop, and sing or jam along.

This input offers a mic preamp with true +48V phantom power (battery or external PSU required for phantom power with iOS devices) to connect studio microphones with quality sound, or switch to Hi-Z, best suited for your favorite guitar or bass.

Connect a mixer, DJ decks, keyboard, or beat machine with this low-noise stereo input.

The 3.5mm TRRS headphone/microphone jack is wired just like your smartphone, so you can listen and talk over the stereo input simultaneously. It works with most headphones with a built-in mic and also with separately available IK products like iRig Mic Lav, iRig Mic, and iRig Pre 2, giving you a wide range of options for any situation.

This option routes the audio output of your digital device (iPhone, iPad, Android mobile device, or Mac/Windows computer) back into iRig Stream Pro to be mixed in with the other audio signals. This is perfect to jam or sing along with backing tracks, or process audio on one app, and stream to another—all on a single device.

Each input has its own independent volume control, which is then mixed down to your choice of stereo or four channels to stream, process, or record into all your favorite apps.

iRig Stream Pro offers 24-bit / 96 kHz AD/DA converters to ensure a clean signal regardless of the platform. An adjustable input gain and easy-to-read level indicators let you dial in the right sound level instantly.

Switchable direct monitoring lets you audition your sound before going live, so you’ll never have to ask your listeners how you sound again. Need to cough? A front-panel mute button instantly mutes the XLR-1/4” input, so you can duck out of your stream and rejoin silently without disrupting the other inputs.

iRig Stream Pro offers stereo and multichannel modes. By default, iRig Stream Pro operates in stereo mode and premixes multiple sources of audio (RCA stereo inputs plus loopback, XLR-1/4" combo input, and TRRS microphone) down to a stereo track, which is sent to your choice of streaming apps like Instagram, Facebook, Twitch, etc.

Switching to multichannel mode, the combo and TRRS inputs are routed to channels 3 and 4 respectively giving you four channels of audio to send to recording apps such as GarageBand or your favorite DAW.

Multichannel mode offers another advantage. Loopback+ is a powerful feature that routes either or both channels 3 and 4 to audio apps such as MixBox, AmpliTube, or VocaLive for processing and then routes their outputs through the Loopback feature and into channels 1 and 2 going to your streaming app.

Now you can actually use these apps on your iOS or Android device as a front-end processor for all streaming apps. It's like using them as a plug-in for more creative and professional-sounding streams.

iRig Stream Pro makes it easier than ever to connect. With USB Type-A, USB Type-C, and Lightning cables right in the box, it plugs into all the latest iPhones, iPads, and Android devices, as well as Mac/Windows computers.

The two supplied AA batteries provide up to 20 hours of reliable performance with phantom power on. Or, connect via bus power on your computer for battery-free operation. An optional PSU not only powers iRig Stream Pro, it will keep your iPhone or iPad charged as well for even the longest sessions.

iRig Stream Pro works with any app that records or streams audio or video, so you'll never stop finding new ways to use it. To get you started, it includes iRig Recorder 3 LE (iPhone/iPad/Android), an easy-to-use, high-quality audio and video recording app. Record, trim, edit, and share, right from your device.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Can this be externally powered from an A/C source?

A: Yes, as long as it is 9VDC with a positive sleeve and at least 500mA.

Q: 2. Can I pug and play the iRig Pro to my iphone X? Or do I need an app to make it all work?

A: The iRig Pro I/O will work great with the iPhone X. An app will be required. We offer free apps which include gear upon the iRig's registration. Check out a list of the included gear with the iRig Pro I/O here: https://www.ikmultimedia.com/products/irigproio/index.php?p=apps

Q: 3. Will this device be recognized by the Cisco WebEx Meetings app on iOS?

A: iRig Pro Duo I/O will work with any software which allows external audio input from digital devices. The Cisco WebEx Meetings app team should be able to let you know if this will work.

Q: 4. I will the stream work for this situation I'm in. xlr mic TC-Helicon PerformV 2i2 Focusrite IRIg stream iOS(TikTok, livestream singing)?

A: There are better and simpler options for your setup. After coming out of the TC-Helicon Perform-V, instead of going into the Focusrite 2i2 and then into the iRig Stream (which has an RCA input for line level signal), a better option would be to go from the XLR output of the Perform-V to the XLR mic input of the iRig Pre HD (B&H # IKIRIGPREHD). The Perform-V has a mic level output and the Pre HD has a dedicated mic input and mic preamp. The Pre HD is an interface that will connect to your iOS device in the same manner as the Stream. It's not necessary to use two interfaces, so the 2i2 is not needed in the signal chain and all you will need is the mic, Performer-V, and Pre HD. You would also be able to connect the mic directly to the XLR input of the Pre HD if you do not want to use the Perform-V.

Q: 5. The specs say "Digital Audio I/O: None", but does the device not sent digital audio through the usb or lightning connector?

A: The IK Multimedia iRig Pro Duo I/O 2-Channel Audio/MIDI Interface does send digital audio output to a compatible device when using the Mini-DIN output connector and any of the included cables which are Mini-DIN to Lightning, Mini-DIN to USB Type-C, or the Mini-DIN to USB Type-A .

Q: 6. There is not on/off button on this device. Does unplugging all the connections effectively turn it "off" and conserve battery?

A: The battery life of the IK Multimedia iRig Stream Solo Ultracompact 3x1 TRRS Audio Interface for Smartphones and Tablets is dependent on its active use and device connections and should not be drained while idle or disconnected.

Q: 7. Is there a AC adapter included in this bundle for the i-Rig Pro Duo ? Also, is it one mic or 2 included ? Picture shows 2 microphones ? And is a mic stand and mic cable included also ? Also, what bundled software is included ? Thanks

A: The IK Multimedia iRig Pro Duo Studio Suite Deluxe does not include a power supply for the i-rig Pro Duo since it is bus powered. You may purchase a universal power supply on our site; B&H# HOACD477. The package includes only 1 microphone (pictured with a front and rear view) - the iRig Mic Studio XLR. This mic includes a desktop mic stand and mic cable. Lastly, the Music Production Bundle includes a variety of software for GarageBand and other recording applications; namely SampleTank 3 SE, Miroslav Philharmonik 2 CE, AmpliTube 4, T-RackS Deluxe for mix and mastering, and mic room.

Q: 8. What power adapter would I get for this unit?

A: This can be powered via bus power or by using the iRig PSU 3A external power supply. Unfortunately we do not carry the PSU.

Q: 9. Ask the following questions: a) How or with what type of cable do I connect it to the PC and if once connected the PC recognizes it as an audio interface? b) Has anyone used it in Linux?

A: The IK Multimedia iRig Pro Duo comes with a USB cable to connect it directly to a PC. You can go to your Settings----Sound menu in your computer while the interface is turned on, to make sure the Irig Pro Duo is selected as the audio input/output source for your computer. No one to my knowledge has yet confirmed compatibility with Linux and IK Multimedia has not confirmed compatibility with Linux.

Q: 10. Will this allow me to use an external XLR mic in Zoom? - or - Send a mic level feed to Zoom from a mix board.

A: The iRig Stream is an audio interface that allows you to connect the audio output from a mixer, keyboard, drum machine, or other line level audio to a Mac or Windows computer or to an iOS or Android mobile device. You can connect your microphone to a mixer and then connect the output from the mixer to the RCA input on the iRig Stream. The iRig Stream comes with three cables (USB Type-A, USB Type-C, and Lightning) to enable connection from the iRig's mini-DIN output to your computer or mobile device. It can be used for Zoom meetings.

[1.06 lb] Received my I/O and immediately plugged it in, I was blown away at the easy steps to adjust the quality output. The Green/Amber/Red lights help and are very much a reflection of what is actually going out. I found playing on the edge of green with an occasional very light amber flicker produced what I wanted. I have now done over 25 IG Live and Zoom sessions using the device. It is exactly what I wanted. It produced exactly what I was looking for as a DJ.
I almost forgot to mention how very simple it is, going straight from either Master or Booth Outputs on my Pioneer DDJ SX2 into the iRig I/O and into my iPhone for IG and just as easy going to the USB on the Laptop running the Zoom session.
NO REGRETS.
