Saying which is best is like which is better, a BMW or a Lexus? You will not go wrong with either of these beautifully made, thin profiled (no vignetting) optically perfect Polarizers. The only difference is the Zeiss does the normal 1.5 stop loss for a Pola whereas the Hoya claims only a 1.25 stop loss. For the vast majority of shooting situations with a Pola, I think that negligible but in certain situations it could be a valuable asset.
