The 62mm 7artisans 62mm CPL Photoelectric Filterhelps to reduce reflections and glare by filtering out light that has become polarized due to reflection from a non-metallic surface. A polarizing filter arranges and filters this directionally polarized light perpendicularly to the reflected light, allowing for the absorption of much of this light. This results in a noticeable reduction of glare and reflections from non-metallic surfaces and an increase in the saturation of skies and foliage.

[0.29 lb] Bought this lens for doing Landscape and star trails. The lens really surprised me with the build quality and butter smooth turning of the focus. The Aperture stops have clicks which I like. I use this lens on my Nikon Z6II. Doing star trails with this lens is simply fantastic. The color rendition of the glass and beautiful star effects on bright lights simply looks great. Great sharpness too. Anyone looking into getting a wide landscape/Astro lens should really consider this lens. I plan on purchasing more lenses from 7artisans. As always, BH Photo service is second to none.

[0.29 lb] I very go out of my way to write reviews, but this time I had to make an exception. I bought the 7artisans 25mm f0.95 on sale, but I would say it's well worth the full retail price. There is nothing like this available for the X mount or any APSC camera for that matter. The pictures that come out of this resemble something out of a medium format camera. The wide angle 3d pop from this lens is unparalleled. If you know what you are doing, this will make your pictures stand out.

The lens is super heavy chunk of glass and metal and the images aren't even close to sharp wide open at minimum distances, but get respectably sharp a few feet away. The lens gets razor sharp by f5.6 and has no distortion. This is also a real T1.05 lens, which means it can make your camera act like a night vision device. Wide open its so bright that it overexposes even night shots. The only thing I did not like about the lens is it gets horrible flares when pointing at bright light sources at night.

For reference I have the XF 23mm 1.4 R and the Nokton 23mm f1.2 as well. While being sharper than the 7artisans, neither of those lenses can even come close in the vintage 3d look you get with the 0.95

Absolutely highly recommended!

[0.29 lb] I own two of these cases. I purchased one to protect a 7artisans 10mm f/2.8 fisheye lens. Fits perfectly. I also own a TTartisan 11mm f/2.8 Fisheye Lens. Fits perfectly. These cases are well-built. Good quality zipper. Attractive.

[0.29 lb] Congratulations, you've found what you're looking for.

Smooth, de-clicked dial for maximum precision, all metal construction, and built with Min/Max stops to prevent the ugly X a lot of VNDs suffer from. There's also very little (if any) noticeable color shift in the image.

I shot on my Sony a7s classic in the snow on a partly sunny day at ISO 3200 (minimum allowed in video mode) with my 50mm f/1.4 lens wide open and still didn't need to max this filter out. The amount of lighting control this allows for is invaluable. Highly recommended!

[0.29 lb] I have several lenses from 7artisans that I love to use on my Fujifilm cameras. This Black Mist is my first filter I have bought from that company. It gives an old-school highlight look with the right light, smoothing the contrast to appear more film-like!
