[Black] This chart is for precise color alignment of HD cameras. It has been calibrated to fit the vector targets at 2x scale - so it takes the guesswork out of color tweaking your HD cameras to match a Rec 709 color space.

[Black] These things are expensive for what they are... But they are color accurate, and have a sturdy construction. Right out of the box I tested one of my cameras and found that it needed some slight adjustments. When shooting with any compressed format it is important to limit how much color correction you need in post.

[Black] With more cheap 2x gain vectorscope options, software and hardware, on the market, this cheap and versatile item increases in usefulness. I use mine to calibrate all of my Sony and JVC cameras, as well as to build FCPX effect presets to correct further than the cameras in menu calibrations allow. One word of caution...the glossy surface can and will easily mark and scratch from sliding it in and out of the included case, which makes things like seeing the black patches impossible do to hazy reflections on the scratches. I am looking for a better means to store and protect my replacement chart.

[Black] It's rigid construction, and portability are must have for shooting anything inside or outside of the studio. Great for matching camera's, and color correction.

[Black] Purchased this chart to make my own focus and alignment frames for precision digital film scanning. Many of us use mirrors/spirt levels to align the plane of our digital camera (mirrorless/DSLR) to the film holder for scanning. After that what is needed is a precision focus and alignment film to set up focus and film holder orientation. I photographed the Lens Test Chart on B&W and color negative film and had the films processed and left uncut. Now I have strips of film to use to align/focus for scanning film. I am suprised that Valoi/Negative Lab Pro/ Negative Supply do not offer such strips.

[Black] I bought this mainly to calibrate the perfect monochrome shooting setting in my camera and this was a great tool for that. I also tried multiple colored black and white filters with it to see the effects and it helped quite well. I love the fact that this ships with 3 copies.

[Black] I used for speaker design and is a great and accurate microphone.

[Black] This is great to throw in your camera bag. It has a white card on the back. Right before you shoot grab a white balance and shoot a few frames of the test chart. When you get into post you will be able to make sure all of your colors are correct.

[Black] By utilising the FrontBox 12+4 DSC Labs test chart, I was able to adjust the gamma, chroma phase and chroma saturation, each by just a little in the right directions to obtain even better performance from my Sony EX3 camcorder. A very well produced test chart. Highly recommended.
