A: We would say both the BMD and the CAME-TV accessories are comparable products that most people seem comfortable to use. The negative reviews would appear to come from personal taste or user error. The BMD accessory kit has a 30 day return and the CAME-TV kit is not returnable, exchange for defects only.

Q: 4. Does this attach to the monitor's vesa mount? If so, why wouldn't this work on any 100mm Vesa monitor?

A: Yes, the SmallHD Cheese Plate for 4K Monitors (BH #SM4KMCP) attaches to the VESA mounts and in theory could be used with other monitors, but it was designed specifically for SmallHD monitors and thus we can't confirm compatibility with products from other manufacturers.

A: The SmallHD Cheese Plate for 4K Monitors will work with the SmallHD Cine 18" 4K High-Bright Production Monitor.

A: It will not. You will not be able to put the top handle that comes with the Ursa Mini Shoulder kit which then allows out to put the Ursa Viewfinder on the camera.

[Black] I bought this thinking it may eventually be useful and I was right as I eventually ran into an issue with mounting screws not lining up correctly with two things I needed to mount together. I slapped this cheese plate on there and problem solved. 5

[Aluminum Alloy] I wouldn't know why I would want a 15mm rail without these female threads? These come in super handy if you need to attach accessories such as a nato rail so you can add a handle or a quick mounting point. I wish BH carried other lengths of this type of rail. 5

[0.085 lb] I got a Ronin 4D and was needing a light weight top plate. When you couple this plate with the Camvate C3584 (M4 male to 1/4 20 female) this fits perfectly and acts really well as a light weight top playe for the Ronin 4D! 5
