[0.195 lb] For the money this is a great hand grip. I paired it with a rosette articulating adapter so that I could twist this with ease and save hundreds of dollars vs the shape grip which does the same thing but costs hundreds for some reason.

[0.195 lb] Camvate offers several custom made camera cages specifically designed to fit individual cameras. The C1344 is more generic in that it can accept several different cameras of varied size from small up to my Panasonic G85 wearing a Neewer bottom battery grip. Two sets of side bars are included — 5.7 and 4.9 allowing the height of the frame to be adjusted but not the width.....
The Camvate C1344 arrives as a kit that can be assembled according to the current needs, but has some limitations. The camera can be mounted to face away from the frame or turned around providing better protection for the lens, which is what I prefer if it happens to be mounted on a tripod when it tips over, and that's the main reason why I use cages at all.....
Camvate offers several add-on accessories but couldn't find any that would provide any more protection than the C1344 already provides. Two included wooden handles improve the appearance and allow for better stability when recording video while carrying the camera. This frame is best suited for sizing to the camera currently being used and is also a convient place to mount mics and monitors and the other accessories commonly attached to camera frames.

[0.195 lb] I love the design and quality of Wooden Camera. This is my second camera cage from Wooden Camera and everything they make is built to last. It's a higher price point thank the entry level, but I've always found them to be well worth it. If you want to enjoy working with your equipment, Wooden Camera is the way to go.

[0.195 lb] I just bought it and I've only used it for 3 shootings and I already love it. You immediately feel the difference between recording with your naked camera and with the cage on. The camera becomes more heavy and stable. You can shoot at low angles without any problem thanks to the top handle. It is very versatile. Everything can be reconfigured to use it on the opposite side, except the wooden handle, of course, because it is designed to fit the right hand, although you could get used to using it backwards and grabbing it with the left hand to take advantage of both the camera grip and the one from the cage (which is what I did). You can also make your own DIY wooden handle and replace it. Overall I am very satisfied with this purchase.

[0.195 lb] I really like the wooden grip. Much better than cold slippery metal I've experienced on other add on grips. The cage itself is easy attach and streamline enough to allow the camera with cage fit into a large shirt pocket. Hoping to receive cable clamp soon for specific projects. The battery door cutout is well designed. The cage does not interfere with foldout screen.

[0.195 lb] Put this on my Small Rig GH5 cage and is sturdy and comfortable definitely would recommend especially at the price since it’s like half as much as the other wood grips.
