The half cage also includes a wooden right-side handle for an ergonomic grip.

Top and bottom mounting plates secure the camera in place while offering multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads for the attachment of articulating arms and external monitors. Three Allen keys allow you to make various adjustments to the half cage, including the adjustable length, which can be lengthened up to 6" and shortened to 5".

We suggest adding the following Cheese rod to the cage. The Camvate 15mm Cheese rod will allow you to use your camera with the battery grip attached, CAMVATE 15mm Cheese Rod with 1/4"-20 and & 3/8"-16 Threaded Holes (7.8") BH #CAC1557

[Single Handgrip] This is a good cage. It comes with a good amount of hardware to start off with. You'll probably eventually need more depending on what you need to mount. One thing I've noticed is the handles are easily turnable even after tightening it down, but that's not a huge deal. 5

[Single Handgrip] I was looking for a cage to fit my larger 9 inch monitor, the Lilliput A8. Everything seems to be set for five or seven inch screens. This design is solid simple and very versatile I can use it on almost any screen. It’s using a mix of standard 15mm rods, so I can even mix and match it with my other rig items. Loving this piece.
