A: Yes, they will fit.

Q: 2. Are this the original ones that came with my Ath-m50x? I don't want any change of sound on my headphones.

A: Audio-Technica HP-EP Earpads are original earpads directly from Audio Technica. They will be the same ones that came with the ATH-M50X

Q: 3. Are the earcups glued or detachable? There were some units produced with glued earcups. I want the detachable ones.

A: The ear pad cover are detachable

Q: 4. What are the inside dimensions of the ear cups? I have big ears.

A: The inside oval-shaped area is approximately 1.5X2.5 inches. We do also offer Auray Extra Deep Earpads (Pair), BH #AUEDMDR7506, which are deep and offer a wider inner area.

A: This product is made in China and/or the Philippines.

Q: 10. Should I get these or Sony MDR-7506? They seem very similar.

A: I bought both the referenced Senal and Sony headsets--each is stored and used with separate video cameras. I cannot perceive any audio or comfort differences between these two headsets but I really like the detachable cord feature on the Senal SMH-1000. This lets me switch between the longer coiled cord or short straight cord as needs require--and provides a back-up headset cable in case the other got damaged. As the other reviewer said, you won't go wrong with either headset.

[Black] open-back headphones provide a more natural sounding experience with a wide soundstage. The price paid for this is sound leakage to the outside and - often - weak response in the low frequency region. However, Philips has managed to achieve a warm and rich sound with powerful bass already in the Fidelio X1. In next flagship, these qualities are not only preserved, but also improved. The improvement in the sound of the Fidelio X2 versus the X1 is obvious. Headphones are noticeably better at handling voices, brass instruments, cymbals, and subtle nuances in the high frequency range. The bass is booming and full-bodied, but they have become more balanced, better controlled. The sound signature of the Fidelio X2 and X1 is similar, but the new flagship sounds more mature. The response across the entire frequency range is smoother, which will certainly appeal to audiophiles and personal audio enthusiasts. Music is played more pleasantly and naturally, but still fun, without monitor dryness. In addition, headphones are well suited not only for listening to music - surround sound and powerful bass help to immerse yourself in the atmosphere of movies or games, explosions and various effects sound great

[0.41 lb] I have used lots of other more recognizable brands. Overheating ears from hours of being on-line were always a problem. Now that issue is almost gone. I am also a bit of audiophile and have started to use these to replace my closed back set. Nothing beats an open back headphone for giving that sound only found from listening to speakers.

[Memory Foam] This Philips Fidelio X2HR choice was my first open-backed headphones after always using closed-backed. It was a great choice. The sound is much better than I was used to and the comfort level on the ears and head is also much more comfortable. I am not an audiophile like some of the other reviewers, yet I am very pleased with my choice. I highly recommend these headphones.

[Memory Foam] The Philips Fidelio X2HR Headphones I purchased at a savings of $150.00 off the regular price are excellent. I use them to monitor recordings I make of my LPs to a digital format on my desktop. The sound is clear and true to the original recording and they fit very comfortably on my head. I will also use them to simply listen to my LPs in quiet comfort.

[Memory Foam] Great quality product and it fit perfectly over the stock headband strap of my Audioquest Nighthawk. The Choide Suede material is quite plush and comfortable.

[Black] I debated between these, and the AT-50s that seem to be it's closed back competition. I do not have a lot of extensive use with headphones, never much cared for them. But new living space calls for quiet listening at night, so, headphones.

The only other pair I've used a lot are an old pair of Pioneer closed-back cans. Frankly, I do not like the style, too confining, creates pressure in my head, etc. These have none of that. Very open, comfortable (very good for large heads, but maybe bad for small ones), and no real fatigue. There is some, again, not a regular user until now (46) so that probably factors in just getting used to them.

But sound wise, I'm really impressed. Hearing so much new detail I've picked up on before in many records. Clear, excellent bass, detailed mids, pretty-clean highs (could be smoother, but I also think headphones in general have harsher treble), but I'm kind of nitpicking there.

Excellent, well-built cans.

[Black] I was debating between the X2HRs and a couple of much higher-priced corded headphones. I decided to give the X2HRs a try based on the double headband. I wanted something that I could wear for extended periods of listening while working. I am using the X2HRs with an ifi Zen DAC and greatly enjoy the sound and the comfort of these. I would recommend a break-in period before judging the X2HRs. I think they have improved after the first 40-50 hours of use. The ear cup pads are made of velour, and this is very comfortable, but beware, if you have furry friends, they tend to trap hair.

[0.41 lb] The headphones have a warmer sound signature, but this in no way means that the mids and highs are recessed. It's a nice smooth sound which is not fatiguing, and paired with the super comfortable ear pads, they can be used for hours on end without fatigue. One observation is that the clamping force may be a bit higher when they are brand new but this will get better overtime with use. It's a much crisper output than my SHP 9600 and paired with my Fiio BTR5, which has more than enough power to drive these, I can confidently say it's all the headphone I need and more.

[0.41 lb] Got this replace an old one that broke a few days ago. This one look more endurable and much more comfortable to wear.
