[0.255 lb] I needed a camera capture card to stream our cameras on set to clients via zoom. This thing works like a charm in Mac OS. No software installs needed. I love it so much I've just taken to using my A7s as a webcam hooked this thing. The new Sony Capture software was so buggy to stream via USB, so this was a welcome alternative. A lot of people have complained about the fan noise. I don't really notice it as I have several RAID arrays under my desk that also have way louder fans. Additionally, the device runs quite cool, so I wouldn't doubt that you could crack this thing open and swap the fan for a heatsink. 5

[0.255 lb] So, i use this for Live Broadcasting at my little local newsoutlet. What i do is connect my Sony RX10-IV to a laptop via the Magewell 4kPlus and the laptop has a hotspot; That way i can literally be almost anywhere and do live feeds to my news-site. It works well -- really. I have had zero connection problems with my camera. It does have a moving part, the ever-so-silent fan; So, i only keep it connected when needed. But, i can honestly say, i am glad i did my research comparing similar products. This is the best out there, and well worth the cost. 5

[0.255 lb] It just works. I've used this as both a live streaming and recording device on my MacBook Pro. I've typically been using a Nikon D810 1080 stream, and I haven't yet pushed this to 4K. I also don't capture audio through the Magwell, as I use a professional studio microphone and audio interface instead. I don't notice any fan noise at all. 5

[HDMI] I love this capture card so far. My favorite part is the fact that you can just plug it in and pull up signal. I do not have to match the exact frame rate and size in Wirecast in order to see signal at all like the Blackmagic Ultra Studio Express Capture cards. One tip I learned from hands on experience streaming corporate video is to put this on a separate USB bus so it has enough bandwidth to work. I have been adapting the custom USB type a that is provided with an adapter cable that goes to USB type C so it's on it's own bus and works super smooth with my laptop ; ) Happy streaming! 5

[0.255 lb] Its absurd how easy this was to install. Plugged it in and it worked. Drivers download and install automatically which is important because I needed to put this on a clients computer to feed a WebEx broadcast. On my own system, I can confirm the 4K signal looks good and is certainly overkill for my purposes. 5
