Boosts the card's clock speed in real-time based on the target temperature. If the card is running below the set target temperature, GPU Boost 4.0 will increase the clock speed to improve performance. The target temperature can be reset depending on your preference so you can have the card run more quietly for everyday tasks and older games, and run at full tilt during intense high-resolution gaming sequences.

With Ansel, gamers can compose the gameplay shots they want, pointing the camera in any direction and from any vantage point within a gaming world. They can capture screenshots at up to 32 times the screen resolution, and then zoom in where they choose without losing fidelity. With photo-filters, they can add effects in real-time before taking the shot. And they can capture 360-degree stereo photospheres for viewing in a VR headset or Google Cardboard.

NVIDIA's parallel computing platform enables an increase in computing performance by harnessing the parallel nature of GPU processing. CUDA-compatible applications can assign intensive parallel computing tasks, such as real-time video rendering, to the GPU to process, freeing up the computer's CPU to run other tasks.

When used with a monitor that has G-SYNC hardware installed, the monitor's refresh rate will sync and lock with the graphics card's output frame rate. Establishing this sync removes tearing and stuttering which can result from conventional fixed screen refresh rates, especially important for gaming in stereoscopic 3D. An additional benefit of G-SYNC is reduced lag so gamers will benefit from the improved command response time as well.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Will this work on the HP Z840 Workstation?

A: You will need to make sure your power supply is adequate to use a Z840 with the PNY NVIDIA RTX A4500 Graphics Card BH #PNNRTXA4500.

Q: 2. How is this any different than any other RTX 4070 Ti? This "ProArt" version looks like a pure marketing thing.

A: Different variants or brands of the same GPU will be largely similar, with only slight differences allowed by Nvidia. The most common difference is maximum overclock speed; the ASUS GeForce RTX 4070 Ti ProArt OC has a maximum OC speed of 2760 MHz, whereas the ROG Strix version for example has a max OC speed of 2640 MHz. This is largely of interest to enthusiasts and "power users" who like to get the maximum possible performance from their hardware, but it is largely unimportant to the average user.

Q: 3. What is the thickness of this card? I can fit a 3070ti Founders Edition in my case - the height and length are good - but if it's much thicker than the FE it won't fit inside my case.

A: The width of the PNY NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 UPRISING Dual Fan LHR Graphics Card is 4.4 inches or 112 mm.

Q: 4. Is one fan enough to keep a 3060 cool?

A: Yes, however other fans in the computers case can lend a helping hand to the PNY Technologies GeForce RTX 3060 XLR8 Gaming REVEL EPIC-X RGB Single Fan Edition Graphics Card.

Q: 5. Does it come with a 16 to three 8 pin adapter for the power connection?

A: The PNY NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER VERTO OC Graphics Card (BH #PNG408016XPB), includes the one 16-Pin to triple 8-Pin power cable.

Q: 6. Thanks. I have the 2020 z6 g5 with PCIe 3.0 x 16. Thats works well with this gpu? Thanks in advance

A: Yes, the PNY RTX A4500 can be used with a motherboard with a free PCIe 3.0 x16 slot, although you will not be able to achieve the speeds of PCIe 4.0.

Q: 7. Does it have LEDs?

A: No, the PNY Technologies GeForce RTX 3070 UPRISING Dual Fan Graphics Card BH #PNGR30708GC does not have LEDs.

Q: 8. Is it compatible with Gigabyte Z490 AORUS PRO AX LGA 1200 ATX Motherboard?

A: Yes, the PNY Technologies RTX A6000 Graphics Card is fully compatible with your Z490 motherboard.

Q: 9. Will this card run at full capacity in a PCIe 4.0 x 8 slot? The MSI MAG Z790 TOMAHAWK MAX cuts the 16 to 8 if you use the M2 1S

A: The PNY NVIDIA RTX A4500 Graphics Card would go into the top slot in that motherboard which is PCIe 5.0. I do not recommend putting it in the PCIe 4.0 slot as the card would run at PCIe 4.0 speeds which will limit some performance.

Q: 10. what does it compare closest to? the 1000 series, 1600 series, 2000 series...? support dvi and hdmi?

A: This card is intended for professional usage "offering high performance real-time ray tracing, AI-accelerated compute, and professional graphics rendering" - not gaming. In that respect, there are no comparisons to be made.

[Dual-Slot] I got this card to speed up my photo editing under TopazLab products like Sharpen and Denoise . I have an older pc, so this was one if the better cards for a 3rd generation pci express slot. After a driver update from Nvidia, the card is compatible with Adobe products as well.
Make sure, you have a good power supply, capable to provide extra power through a 6 pin pcie plug.
This card has made my editing many times faster than it was before. If you are in a similar situation, compare the graphics card score on those testing sites with what you have now and if there is a significant point difference, go for it.

[Full Height] I am not a gamer, but I do a fair amount of video editing in DaVinci Resolve Studio. Before I purchased the 3060, I had a PNY 1660 ti installed in a Dell XPS 8940 running an Intel Core i7 and a 350W PSU. Using the original setup, I rendered a 1 minute 50 second timeline in 1 minute. I noticed the cpu cores would get warm (80-85C) and the cooling fan would speed up noticeably. Once I installed a 500W PSU and the 3060, rendering for the same timeline reduced to 37 seconds, the cpu temps did not exceed 65C and the cooling fan did not speed up. I also noticed in editing mode that video playback was smoother.
A big thank-you to B&H's Mendel for tech support in helping me in my purchase decision.

[450 W] Bought this to install in my old pc I gave to my wife. Her previous HP had a GTX 645 that I didn't want to put in my old rig. She doesn't play games or anything so I didn't need anything fancy. Installed fine and works great. Plus with the instant discount B&H offered, it was well a great price too!

[1770 MHz] Remember to update your BIos before you try to upgrade. Once the BIos recognized it, and the drivers updated, it works like a 4090 should. Max settings on everything. Should have done it last year, but the price.

[1500 MHz] A little pricey, but it seems to be living up to the hype. I tried to fit it into my existing micro case by moving my cooling system from the front to the top. Didn't like the looks of that so I purchased a larger case and transferred all the components. The thing is a monster (13 1/2 long), but it is doing what I hoped it would do. Only game I have installed is MSFS 2020 and with the graphics settings set to either High or Ultra it runs @ 40-50 FPS. Far better than my old 3070 running 25-40 FPS with Med or High graphics settings.

[Full Height] Pros, in descending order of importance to myself:
+++ works and performs just like any other RTX 4090
+++ reasonable length so fits in most ATX/mATX cases
++ at or sometimes under MSRP

++ pretty quiet underload(62C at 60% fan speed)
+ overclocks fine so no need for an OC Version
+ looks fine without being over gamery

Cons:
- need to download PNY's own software to adjust the RGB, but you can set and forget it and never open that software ever again.
Conclusion:
Probably the best RTX 4090 you can buy for your money.

[GDDR6] My 4090 arrived last Friday (10/02/2023) and I was able to install and get it running the next day. after working out some hiccups with my fingers bumping cords, I got everything working and was blown away by the results. while I knew the card would be bottlenecked by my aging CPU, the results still left my jaw on the floor. on average every game I played loaded faster, and looked better because of settings being maxed out, and when they ran at 1920p I got roughly 45-70fps, now at 4k with this 4090 I'm getting 160fps at the lowest (except in Star Citizen, which is getting 30-90fps on average at 4k). overall, I'm very pleased with this card and I can't wait to see what it can do when I'm able to upgrade the CPU.
