A solid and strong set of legs, the 2-stage Sachtler 75/2 Carbon Fiber Tripod with 75mm bowl supports up to 44 lb and is well suited for camcorders and DSLRs to smaller digital cine cameras. This tripod does not include separately available spreaders or rubber feet. The legs feature a working height range of 16.6 to 61.8" when using a ground spreader (not included), providing you with a range of shot heights without having to use specialty legs.

Each leg is independently adjustable in height and angle, allowing you to quickly rough in your position. The adjustments allow the tripod legs to work in oddly shaped spaces and remain stable on uneven surfaces. The lever locks are durable and lock the leg heights quickly and securely. The tripod legs can be used by themselves on soft ground or with optional rubber feet, a mid-level spreader, or a ground spreader.

The legs feature independent height adjustments and spread, which allow the legs to remain stable on rough terrain and uneven surfaces such as stairs.

The dual spiked feet provide a firm grip on soft surfaces, such as earth or sand, when the legs are at a normal height or when you need to spread them wide for low-angle shots.

Carbon fiber legs are more resistant to salt water corrosion than aluminum legs are, making the carbon fiber legs an excellent choice for working on the beach and around the ocean.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. When mounting at slider on top (i.e. Rhino slider) is it still easy to make height adjustments frequently? I wasn’t sure if those red handles are too close to the top making it hard to flip up?

A: Yes, the Flowtech provides fast and easy adjustments on height when using sliders on top.

Q: 2. Can this be used with photography ball head or gimbal?

A: Yes it can be, if you have the proper adapter. This tripod is designed for heads with a 75mm ball connection, most photography heads will have a 3/8" Flat Base Connection. The Manfrotto 520BALLSH 75mm Short Half-Ball, B&H # MA520BSH, will allow you to attach most Photography Heads to this tripod. https://bhpho.to/2xdormd

Q: 3. Can anyone recommend a friction arm that will fit in the threaded hole on the side? To attach a 7" monitor.

A: The Sachtler Flowtech 75 MS Carbon Fiber Tripod with Mid-Level Spreader and Rubber Feet does not have a screw attachment point for attaching arms.

Q: 4. What is the minimum height of the legs when the mid-level spreader is removed? 24"? or 10" similar to the ground level spreader?

A: Without a spreader attached, the Sachtler Flowtech 75 MS Carbon Fiber Tripod with Mid-Level Spreader and Rubber Feet can lay flat to the ground.

Q: 5. Would the Manfrotto 504x work with this ????

A: Yes, The Manfrotto 504X has a 75mm ball mount and should work with the Flowtech 75 tripod. Please make sure to add this 75mm ball adapter to lock the head to the tripod BH #MA520BSH

Q: 6. Has anyone tried mounting a slider on it? does it have any substantial flex? and how does it compare to the Manfrotto 535 and 536 in terms of stiffness and stability?

A: This is a surprisingly stable tripod. The first time I took it in the field my producer thought it was a weird, cheap thing until he saw the Sachtler branding. Once the legs are locked, they stiffen and feel as solid as a set of Sachtler speedlocks. I will say, with the spreader attached, it feels rather narrow. Depending on the load, I would have liked the legs to spread more. To answer your question, in comparison to the flex/stability of the Manfrotto legs, it is as stabile as them, albeit without the spread of those legs in terms of width. This was an upgrade for me from the Manfrotto 546B Legs. No regrets thus far

Q: 7. Is it okay to use this legs in let say small water or a small river ? Only quarter bottom of the legs inside the water , not full legs .

A: I have used extensively for wildlife shoots in harsh conditions such as fresh water and streams. I have had no problems. I have not let sticks get buried deep in river mud. I have used on saltwater sea shores, but have always done good rinses before salt dries and turns to crystals. No problems.

Q: 8. Is this trippd waterproof?

A: The Sachtler Flowtech 75 MS Carbon Fiber is not waterproof.

Q: 9. Is there a way to attach a 5 inch monitor to one of the legs?

A: You could consider an arm and clamp kit for this. https://bhpho.to/3jdwun9

Q: 10. Will the Miller CX6 fluid head work with this tripod?

A: Yes it will.

[Carbon Fiber] I have two of these and I love how easy it is to stick up or down especially when I am solo. Haven't had any issues for 4 years and counting.

[Carbon Fiber] The brand you know and trust. Finally upgraded to these legs after years on a mid-level spreader from E-Image. The build quality appears solid and sturdy and pairs beautifully with the Aktiv8 fluidhead.

[Carbon Fiber] Flowtech is the tried and true MVP. Great in all weather, incredibly lightweight. Don't settle for anything less

[Yes] This year marks my 40th year in the industry, and I've been a big fan of Sachtler for a long time. This tripod is the best I've ever encountered. It's light, well balanced, fast, goes low enough for a sit down interview yet high enough to shoot someone standing who's 6'4 without looking up their nose. If it's like my other Sachtler gear, they'll last decades. I'm happy with the purchase.

[3] These are great. I paired the legs with my DV8/100 head. I chose the 100mm legs in case I ever used a heavier camera rig.
- Rock solid legs
- Incredibly light
- easy to hold & travel with

Also, no need for a spreader!

[3] The Flowtech 100 fits my needs perfectly. Lightweight, super easy to set up and versatile in terms of height and how low you can get it to the ground (middle spreader removes easily to facilitate this).

Have yet to use it on a shoot but so far I’m very happy with it.

[6.065 lb] One of the industry standards for a reason. It's very expensive indeed so I wish the mid spreader was more robust. Other than that, these sticks are pretty much perfect.

[75 mm Bowl] Would you like to earn more money with less overhead? Yes!

I could buy a a few solid lens's with that budget. Why should I spend $2,500 dollars on a tripod? Listen up.

With a few workflow adjustments, this tripod has greatly diminished my need for an assistant out in the field. Efficiency matters, moments matter, and it allows me to work very quickly. Greater efficiency means better work, and less overhead means more money in your pocket

Rock solid build and load bearing capacity, lightning quick adjustability, it quickly adapts to uneven terrain, and most importantly, no need for an assistant to help with adjustments.

It's already paid itself off multiple times. Take the plunge and do not miss out on this. In my case, it's been a been a game changer.
