Based on the RDNA 2 architecture and designed to handle the graphical demands of 1080p gaming, the MSI Radeon RX 6400 AERO ITX 4G Graphics Cardprovides an immersive gaming experience with your PC games. The GPU features 4GB of GDDR6 VRAM and a 64-bit memory interface, offering improved performance and power efficiency over the previous RDNA-based generation.

The front panel of the card features a variety of outputs, such as DisplayPort 1.4 and HDMI 2.1. HDMI 2.1 supports up to 48 Gb/s bandwidth and a range of higher resolutions and refresh rates, including 8K @ 60 fps, 4K @ 120 fps, and even up to 10K. The Radeon RX 6400 supports APIs such as DirectX 12 Ultimate and OpenGL. These APIs can take advantage of the GPU's 768 Stream Processors to accelerate parallel computing tasks, taking some of the processing load off of the CPU. For cooling, MSI implemented a single fan cooler.

DirectX12 Ultimate gives game developers the power to deliver immersive visuals with real-time DirectX Raytracing (DXR), Variable Rate Shading (VRS), Mesh Shaders, and Sampler Feedback, taking games to the next level.

AMD FidelityFX is an open-source image-quality toolkit comprising of seven different solutions available for game developers to implement into their games that are optimized for AMD RDNA and RDNA 2 architectures.

Restores clarity to in-game images that have been softened by other post-process effects. RIS combines with GPU upscaling to provide sharp visuals at fluid frame rates on very high-resolution displays, and works across DirectX 9, 12, and Vulkan titles.

Reduce screen tearing with AMD's FreeSync Technology. FreeSync enables the monitor to dynamically adjust its refresh rate to the frame rate being output by the graphics card, thereby greatly reducing screen tearing, stuttering, and other artifacts.

Optimized for esports, Radeon Anti-Lag improves competitiveness by decreasing input-to-display response times by up to 31 percent, delivering an experience similar to higher frame rates.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Will this work in a Razer Core X Chroma expansion? Also, how much better/faster is this than the AMD Radeon Pro WX 7100? Sorry, I am kind of new to this.

A: Yes it will. The W5700 has twice the memory bandwidth of the WX7100. That impact will vary differently in different system and software setups.

[7680 x 4320] Extremely clean design and great air flow. This fit great into my rig and had amazing performance in Warzone. I highly recommend this professional design for your next GPU.

[7680 x 4320] I just received the Gigabyte Radeon RX 7600 card and so far it's working fine. It's pretty quiet. I bought this one to get the free Starfield that's included. It doesn't say which edition of Starfield is included only that it's a $100 value which would imply that it's the Premium edition. But the main reason I'm writing this is just to warn that it's really just the Standard edition of Starfield that's included.
The process to redeem the credit for Starfield is a little bit annoying. You have to download and install a validation program from AMD which will check whether you have a valid AMD card installed before you can redeem your credit. At first I was a bit concerned that it meant I would forever need to use this graphics card to play this version of Starfield. But now it looks like that's not the case.
So far it hasn't acquired and given me a download key for Starfield but I assume it won't do that until Starfield is actually released on Sept 6. I believe it does this through Steam.

[350 W] Great value graphics card. I feel that a 4070 may still edge this out, at least with RT, but this is still amazing. I can play all my games at max or near max settings @ 1440p. Best card for the money right now. Enjoy!

[53 W] Upgraded from an Asus STRIX RX 480 8GB OC to this card and it can't be beat for the price to performance ratio. I've had a massive improvement in gaming and GPU workload performance and with my motherboard only supporting the PCIe generation the precedes it, a motherboard upgrade will get me improve about 10-15% more. Chose STRIX because it's been dependable and stable and I've only had to upgrade for upgrade's sake.

[128 GB/s] This is a great card! Couldn’t really find specs on the size but it is a very long card 335mm, so keep that in mind. It fit in my 4000D case with a front mounted radiator (which I ended up changing) but it is very close like 3mm of space. Performance is great for high settings at 1440 120-144 fps. Cooling is great in my opinion 55c on baulders gate with a 68c hot spot, That is with custom fan curve. 68c 80c hot spot with default so still great! Highly recommend this, especially at this price!

[128 GB/s] I'm not a gamer. I bought this to replace a dead 10yr old R9. Extremely easy to install and download
the drivers. Even automatically deleted the old drivers. Took less than 5 minutes to install.

[350 W] It can play anything at ultra settings at 1080p really well. Low temps. Really satisfied with it.

[128 GB/s] I bought my Gigabyte RX 6800 XT to replace a Radeon VII. This GPU is almost the same length as the Radeon VII but slightly thicker. It requires the same two power cables.

I immediately noticed a decrease in fan noise. I was able to set some of the games to their absolute highest settings. The Gigabyte RX 6800 XT handles the load just fine. And there is a noticeable improvement in graphics performance over the Radeon VII.

Now that prices have returned to normal and continue to drop, the prices on these is quite reasonable. Stock availability can be an issue. Patience is needed to hit the right price and have access to availability.

There is one problem, and a huge problem at that. My GPU failed at just about 60 days of ownership. First the OS started losing the GPU and required reinstallation. Within a week of that the GPU just failed. I couldn't even get the POST screens. Gigabyte has a three year warranty. I was able to get an RMA and sent out the GPU for service. I wouldn't expect a GPU of this caliber to fail as this one has, but electronics are not perfect I'm expecting Gigabyte will jus replace it with a new one.

I would definitely recommend this GPU to anyone.

Great card runs cool, looks great. I use for 1080p gaming but i can play most games in 4 k no problem.
