Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. What is the difference between this and Leofoto BV-1R? All I can see is that there is a small weight difference, but what else?

A: There are no other differences except the slightly lighter weight on this Leofoto BV-1 Fluid Video Head, which is an updated version of the Leofoto Mini Fluid Head BV-1R.

Q: 2. Does the gimbal head, collapsable? or stay in that L shape 90 degree way, kind of hard to bag for travel?

A: In the Fotopro E7 Carbon Fiber Tripod with Gimbal Head you can remove the cradle that holds the camera from the gimbal. Will make it easier to pack it in a bag.

Q: 3. In regards to the tandem connection of both a laptop tray and camera, could this even be advisable? From a perspective of camera stability, I mean...

A: It depends on the camera and lens you are using. If you are using a 100 megapixel camera and a 70-200 lens and are cropping in at 100% to check on maximum sharpness than it won't be advisable. I would recommend getting a very heavy and strong tripod kit and separating it from the laptop. But if you have a 24mm lens on a 20 megapixel camera and are not cropping in to 100%, then this LeoFoto will work well with a strong and heavy tripod.

Q: 4. What is the operating temperature?

A: There is no listed specific temperature of operation for the Leofoto BV-20K Fluid Tripod Head. It is well known that in close to freezing temperatures, the fluid can get viscous and make it difficult to have quicker motions in these conditions.

Q: 5. Are the rosettes M8 or 1/4-20?

A: The Rosettes are only for mounting the additional or relocating the pan bar. The screws are 1/4" but bay be more than "20."

Q: 6. Does this come with the 2 piece center column like the smaller Leofoto Ranger LS-224CX?

A: Yes, the Leofoto LS-254CX Carbon Fiber Tripod comes with the Leofoto DC-252C Carbon Fiber Add-On Column.

Q: 7. Can I put a head on these legs with a 75mm bowl? Specifically sachtler ACE M

A: Yes, you would have to remove the Leofoto tie-down from the tripod and use the tie-down that comes with the Ace Head. But the Leofoto LVC-193C Carbon Fiber Tripod with Leveling Base has a 75mm bowl that works with 75mm heads like the Sachtler Ace M.

Q: 8. can you add your own 75mm video head?

A: Yes, while Leofoto has many wonderful head options, the bowl would allow you to add your own 75mm flat head to the Leofoto LVC-253C Carbon Fiber Tripod with Leveling Base legs. Here a recommendation for a 75mm head: the Leofoto BV-20K Fluid Tripod Head 75mm (B&H # LEBV20K).

Q: 9. does the specified length of 16.5" refer to the total length of the product including mounting platforms on the sides? or does i

A: The Leofoto H-32 Carbon Fiber Tripod Arm total length is 16.5 inches. And that includes the platforms which are pretty thin.

Q: 10. What is the operating temperature of the BV-20?

A: The operating temperature range of this Leofoto BV-20 Fluid Tripod Head is -20°C to 40°C.

[Yes] Tall lightweight and sturdy. Great for staying mobile while supporting a long lens (Tamron 150-600). Easy to set up and take down.

[4] Twist off cap that acts as a wrench for the mount bolt. Well engineered. The wrist strap is a great feature for stability and firm hold. I am very impressed with Leofoto. Light but strong carbon fiber. Came with a nice carrying case.

[9.305 lb] Tested this all morning as a new product and will be doing a video review of this one soon. Quick thoughts, supports and counterbalances 15lbs easily. Good ergonomics. Nice drag controls, easy to use. Lighter than most supporting this weight. Overall Winner!
Cons: a hair of slack when changing the drag, wish there were 1-2 more counterbalance setting (there is frictionless and 3 steps on top of that, 4-5 would have been perfect)

[Flip Lock] This monopod is fantastic. When I ordered was a bit concerned about the twist lock. They are great with a minimal twist they are tight and secure with no slippage. My lens is a Sigma 150 x 600, the pod handles the weight without any issues. Highly recommend. Great value for the dollar.

[Yes] I use this to help stabilize my heaviest camera/lens setups while remaining flexible to move around. I don't think I'll ever need to replace it, but if I do, I'm buying another of the exact same one.

[4] Excellent construction. I like that it is rated to hold 35 pounds of weight.

Unlike the Amazon Basics monopod the foam grip on the Leofoto is adhered to the mast.

[+90° to -75°] I've been using Leofoto products for the past few years and initially I was skeptical about their products but, after purchasing a Mr. Q Tripod and Ballhead I was convinced that they're making quality products at a fraction of the prince of their competitors. This Horizontal tripod arm kit is so elegant but functional. I'm able to attach it to my tripod and able to mount a couple of cameras directly onto the arm or attach some ballheads. I like that you can tilt and swivel in many different angles. If you're in the market for a Tripoms Arm kit, look no further than Leofoto.

[Yes] I shoot real estate photography and bought this to pair with the Manfrotto 475B Pro tripod legs. I just upgraded from the Manfrotto 055, and I already know the 475B + Leofoto tripod arm and I are going to be fast friends.

I bought the Leofoto tripod arm for the rare occasion that an agent wants a vertical shot. The 475B's center column doesn't tilt to 90 degrees, and I decided that what the 475B offered in comparison to the 055 was significant enough that I shopped for a go between. So far, the Leofoto tripod arm delivers as advertised. It's just as beefy and sleek in person as pictured - yet lightweight - and in my line of work, appearance of equipment = confidence in skills when they haven't seen my photos yet.

Though I've only played with the new setup so far, I already know it's going to be fast and simple to change out when a client wants a vertical shot.

Not only does it look super sleek and feels great, it's exactly what I needed to pair with my new tripod. I'm done with the 90degree tilt center column! I bought this new setup because the center column on the 055 was getting wobbly and was such a pain to level the camera whenever I raised it to shoot kitchens and exteriors. (Shooting with a Canon 5D Mark IV.)

Great product. Highly recommend!!

If anything changes after I've used it a bit, I'll update my review.
