$14,097.00 $22,132.29

This Inovativ Echo 36 Workstation Hydraulic Brakescomes with Inovativ's Hydraulic Brake System already installed. The advanced braking system is designed for steep terrain. It's lever-actuated and lets you stop the cart by hand when going downhill, rather than by having to use foot brakes. The system also has an E-Brake feature to keep your Echo stationary. The hydraulic brakes come secured to the two fixed wheels of the cart. They're controlled from a lever that attaches to one of the cart's handgrips.

The Echo 36 features a three-sided top surface measuring 36" in length. The open side of the shelf allows easier use of the surface while the other three sides ensure that small items won't roll off the surface. This shelf is height adjustable 10", in increments of 2". The bottom shelf of the cart is enclosed on all sides and is part of the robust frame of the cart. Two drawers are also included, one that attaches under the top shelf, and a larger one that attaches under the bottom shelf. The soft-close drawers feature combination locks and provide a safe place to store valuable items when you step away from the cart.

The Echo 36 comes with four 10" wheels with aluminum frames. The wheels are hard-mounted to the bottom shelf. Two of the wheels are fixed and two are swiveling and have foot brakes. The Hydraulic Brake System uses the fixed wheels.

The Echo is partially collapsible.

[2] Used them on an Avenger A4050CS, which already has the ready holes. Now she glides like butter on a hot biscuit. Girl just needed her dancing shoes!

[2] I think this size is the best compromise. It's called a 36 but this one is actually almost 40 including the handle. Adjustable top shelf height is a nice feature.

[120.5 lb] I was unsure whether the A9000N wheel set would fit my Avenger A700 boom stand because of its age. I got great advice from B&H in this regard, my order was filled and delivered very quickly, and setup was easy. This has substantially increased the functionality of my boom stand. B&H was the only supplier that had this item in stock and could tell me with confidence that the new wheel set would fit my stand. Thanks for your help.

[2] Other than Inovativ Voyager, I was also considering other brands such as Proaim victor 1.1 and Adicam as the price saving was quite significant. The reason why I decided to bite the bullet and go for Voyager is the speed of setup, teardown and weight. In comparison, voyager EVO is significantly lighter.

Other systems requires the screwing of various knobs after placing the shelf or the 4 poles. Proaim 4 poles needs to be removed when dismantling as it is a non flip design and its top shelf requires 2 man to install. This is a big flaw IMO as I always work in small team or alone.

Adicam poles are also not aligned corner to corner with 2 poles closer than the other 2. This will cause alignment issues as I want to install clamps to hold lightstands on the long side of the cart. The cart locking system is also based on Inovativ old design.

Voyager top shelf height could also be adjusted and increased to hold more cargo at the bottom shelf. This is something not possible for the other brands.

The last thing I want is to spend money on a cart which will frustrate and slow me down especially when I need to setup and teardown multiple times in a day. Pay peanut get monkey, buy cheap buy twice.
I see this as a long term investment which I could easily use over 10-15 years and is well worth the money.

[2] Fantastic cart. I use it as my DIT cart on commercial shoots in NYC. Works like a dream. Only thing I wish it had was some more expandability on the corners like you have with the Apollo cart. I'd like to have some baby pin options. But all can be done with after-market parts!

[2] Perfect as a yank stopped for my tether cord, or to hang additional accessories from my DigiPlate Pro during shoots.

[2] Do you pay a premium for Inovativ products? Yes. But what you get are products that clearly underwent serious thought, design, and manufacturing. The Voyager cart is quality to the extreme and it'll be an asset on set. I foresee this cart lasting many, many years beyond the warranty of 5 years that included. I went with the 36 in. size so I can get it into smaller indoor sets easier, and I got the x-top for when I use it as a computer/tethering workstation. Although it's not currently pictured, the x-top does come with the side that is removable. I was pleasantly surprised to see it did come with the side because I expected it come with nothing there, as pictured. The removable side is bolted down with four 1/4-20 bolts and nuts, and you'll need a hex key to remove it. I replaced the regular nuts with 1/4-20 wingnuts so I could remove and reattach the removable side by hand, without needing the hex key (See pics). It's also a lot faster attaching and detaching with the wingnuts. It'll cost you about a buck at any hardware store for four wingnuts. Having that side attached to the cart makes it a lot easier and faster when moving lots of gear without fear of stuff sliding off the side when the lip isn't attached. You don't get the foldable lip on the Voyager model, so this is a decent work-around.

They pack it very well for shipping so don't fret about that.

I nearly bought a Proaim cart before I decided to go with the Inovativ Voyager. I have zero regrets about that decision.

[2] Perfect for the 16.4 Avenger A4050cs Boom Stand.  I cant imagine using the stand without these.  They are large, smooth, very heavy duty, and have an efficient brake.

[2] As the title says, this cart allowed me to go from ten trips from a truck down to two.

I use it to carry three tripods, two C-stands, a boompole/other audio gear, lights and light stands.

The cart itself is awesome even though it's a bit tall. It seems really well-machined as the individual components are easy to break down and set back up.

My only pause is the durability of the cart and that'll be tested over time. I tend to take care of my gear so I don't ever anticipate buying another cart, and if I do, I'll be bias toward this brand. Good stuff.

[2] Only note is it's not for small items as the upper back and sections in the side have about a 1 high gap. Great for rain covers, toolbox, and larger items etc. Wider than my Apollo 40 and Ranger drawers.
