The Oyen Digital Fortis 5C 90TB USB 3.2 Gen 2 Drive Arrayis designed to meet the needs of power users with large storage requirements. This Fortis 5C features a storage capacity of 90TB, configured as five 18TB Enterprise HDDs that are preformatted exFAT, which is compatible with Windows, macOS, and Linux. Also featured is all-aluminum construction, a silicone rubber sleeve, a molded handle, and locking trays that allow for on-the-go protection. Airflow is maximized by a 3000 rpm exhaust fan to keep heat away from the internal drives and may be configured for 24/7 operation or intelligent cooling, which activates the fan only when the internal temperature reaches 95°F.

Please note that the Fortis 5C comes pre-configured as a JBOD. If you would like to use the Fortis 5C as a RAID array, you'll need to use a software RAID app, such as Disk Utility (Mac), Storage Spaces (Windows), or SoftRAID (not included).

[156 W] I have been buying Oyen for some time now... they're products are insanely good and this drive is no exception. I dont understand how they aren't bigger than they are because of the reliability of their drives and the build quality. The Helix Dura is the best thing since sliced bread... knocks the Samsung T5s out of the water and any home built NVME drive. Thanks Oyen ... keep it up! 5

[90 TB] I have four of these and they work flawlessly! When DROBO decided to not support the new Mac OS, I used these to quickly and cheaply back up many terabytes of data. Minor assembly required, but it even comes with a small screwdriver. 3 minute operation to insert the drive and secure it. I think they are very quiet compared to many drives. 5

[1x 3000 rpm Fan] I love these hard drives, I have a 12T and 18T. They work really well with my new MacBook Pro. At first, when the computer would go to sleep, they would sometimes dismount and then when the computer would wake up they would remount, but I'd see that message that they were not dismounted properly. Tech support recommended two changes in the system preferences, and now they work well. (The settings they recommended were under Battery, then Power Adapter, Uncheck "Prevent computer from sleeping automatically when display is off and Uncheck Put hard drives to sleep when possible.) The drives are fast and smooth. I love the cables they come with, and I love the blue case. I used to buy G-Drives because I thought they were the best. These are a great replacement. I was impressed with the recommendation of Mike Bomich of Carbon Copy Cloner. Theses hard drives really are the best kept secret, as another reviewer wrote. 5

[1x 3000 rpm Fan] Purchased it for WD 20TB Ultrastar 7200 rpm SATA 3.5 for backup. Works great, the bus speed is not much different from the internal bus speed if the HDD mounted internally. 5

[1x 3000 rpm Fan] Thick silicone cover protects the drive inside; a WD 16TB Gold. I use this enclosure to backup my NAS periodically. There's no fan, just an aluminum housing which has small fins on the bottom to help dissipate heat. Came with USB Type-A and Type-C cables which was nice, and a full set of screws and a screwdriver. Paper instructions were a plus as I didn't have to go online to finish setup. Great product! 5

[156 W] I got this to house my 8TB backup drive. It was simple to get into the unit and install. A few screws, put the silicone housing on it for protection and you're done. Very easy and a good price. Feels very stable and solid. 5
