Zeiss's classic reticle for fast, long shots combined with the finest illuminated dot. At the respective riflescope's reference magnification, the reticle's characteristic dots are exactly 10cm apart at a distance of 100m, making it easy to accurately estimate distances. The angle between the dots at this magnification is exactly 1 MRAD, allowing trained shooters to quickly determine the appropriate holdover point at long distances.

The bullet drop compensator from ZEISS is probably the most intuitive ballistic solution on the market—easy to use and exceptionally precise. The knob normally used to adjust the height is replaced by a non-slip adjuster ring with a distance scale. Before taking your shot simply turn the ASV to the measured distance and aim accurately.

At the lowest magnification the field of view is at its widest, allowing the hunter to see more of the surroundings in view. In general, a wide field of view allows for rapid target acquisition and provides the hunter with utmost awareness of the complete environment around the target.

The Ultra-FL Concept contains several SCHOTT fluoride glass elements for absolute color fidelity, brightness, and clarity, ensuring the finest resolution of details, even in the harshest conditions and most challenging environment.

The 35x magnification combined with the bullet drop compensation (ASV) stands for ultimate long-range shooting capability - and success. The riflescope provides consistently excellent image sharpness while yielding the highest resolution of details from minimum to maximum magnification settings. This allows for utter-most reliable target identification, shot confirmation, and ultra-precise shooting over the longest distances.

The secret behind the precision of ZEISS riflescopes is their ultra-fine illuminated dot and extremely low target coverage. With only a fraction of the thickness of a human hair, the fibre optics system delivers the world's finest illuminated dot—3.3mm target coverage at 100 meters is the breathtaking result. Pure precision for the smallest targets and the greatest distances.

ZEISS T* coating is a guarantee of the brilliant, high-contrast images that you will experience even in adverse light conditions and in the twilight.

ZEISS developed its LotuTec lens coating for riflescopes, binoculars, and spotting scopes to enable a clear and unhindered view in all weather conditions.

Testing demonstrated expected and necessary degree of stiffness, as well as maximum reliability, in terms of shooting stability. The V8 delivers the repeatability required for clip-on night vision accessory optics.

The multifunction illumination control button can be quickly, silently, and intuitively operated even with gloves on. The illumination is automatically deactivated as soon as you put the weapon down. It reactivates as soon as you take aim, a feature that saves time and energy and ensures an immediate and perfect aiming solution in any lighting condition.

Continuously shocked for 90 minutes, submerged 13' deep for two hours, sprayed for 24 hours with salt water, exposed to -13°F and 122°F temperatures—ZEISS riflescope testing assures performance in the field.

Q: 1. What is the maximum delay on an output channel? The block diagram shows 21 ms but that seems like a typo.

A: In the manufacturer's specifications for the Ashly Protea 4.8SP - 4 Input, 8 Output Digital Speaker Processor, the user manual lists 1.46ms as the spec for propagation delay and 0 to 682ms as the spec for input and output delay. [60 mm] I have another 1x Barska sight that I love so I thought I would try this on my SW M&P 15-22. The scope arrived quickly and was packaged very well. I was able to get it mounted in a few minutes and overall love the scope. The dual illumination works great and the knobs feel solid. My only two complaints are the battery cap is hard to get back on and the eye relief sits low. I purchase a set of raised rings and now have no trouble with the eye relief. Bottom line this is a great scope for the price.

[Aluminum] The eye relief is somewhat close for comfort, I would have preferred a 1/8 MOA per click at 100 yards. Overall, the riflescope appears robust. I would expect high praises if it survives the 7MM Magnum.

[4.8 to 35x] Good balance between price and quality.

[60 mm] Mounted this scope on my HW50S.  Its the perfect size and weight. The AO and ocular focus rings are very stiff, which I prefer since its less likely to shift during shooting sessions.  The optics are clear, and I love the Mil-Dot reticle.  The scope was very easy to zero.  My setup is to shoot 1 low at point blank, then knowing Im on paper to zero at 10 yards, and then fine tune zero at 20 yards.  Already gone thru a tin of pellets terrorizing soup and soda cans, and the zero hasnt changed. All-in-all, Id say that this is a really nice scope for the money.

[4.8 to 35x] I was a little skeptical about this piece of glass because of the price but, I was extremely surprised. This is one Great scope. Once it was zeroed in it was dead on at 200 yrds. I only put 200 rounds through it today and it held zero just fine, I plan on putting another 500 through it on friday and I'm expecting no less than what I experienced today. Thank you Barska for a GREAT SCOPE.

[-3.5 to +2.0] For the price it is a great buy. Works very well in low light. Don't have any complaints about this scope it works very well across the board. Currently on my black out buying another for my 5.56 couldn't be happier.

[60 mm] I've put a couple hundred shots through my AR and the scope has stayed right on the money at about 90yards. The only thing I would suggest is when you mount this scope to your rifle, make sure the 12 Allan head screws holding the scope to the mounting bracket are tight as well. After about the first 40 shots I had to tighten those up but they have stayed tight since. Awesome scope for the money!!
