A: This cable follows the standard XLR wiring of pin 2 hot.

A: I'm going to disagree with the first response. This patch chord is mini-jack to an XLR male (meaning output function). You can use the chord bring a signal from your PC to the mixer, but not vice versa. You want a mini-jack to XLR input (female) chord. There are many such chords available from B&H.

Q: 5. Are these cables made in the USA?

A: These cables are made in China in a Mogami factory.

Q: 6. Are all 4 pins wired?

A: NO! The wire is 2 conductor, and only pins 1 & 4 are connected. Does not work as power/control cable for TigerTilt pan-tilt head. Disappointing!

Q: 7. Hello...is this for 1 or 2 cable? The (+2) is a little confusing...thanks.

A: The Whirlwind Accusonic+2 ships as a single cable.

Q: 8. How is this wired? Does it have resistor to passively Sum the L & R Channels to the XLR? or L & R channels directly summed together without any isolation?

A: This particular cable is a mono ts connection on the 3.5mm connector. It would only see the L channel of a stereo signal. There are no resistors in this cable.

Q: 9. What is the color code

A: Is this referring to the internal wiring? We don't readily have a spec for that, so if you are making any modifications, I would test each wire with a multimeter to the corresponding pin.
