A: This is a great vest and I am very happy with my purchase. I have the X-Large Khaki and find that it fits my 48 chest just fine. It is a bit loose when wearing just a t-shirt but that is nice because it allows for more breathability when it is warm outside. An X-Large will be loose enough to allow the vest to be worn over a sweatshirt or jacket in the colder months too, which is a huge consideration. If you want to use the vest in winter, it needs to be on the large side. Better to go larger than smaller.
