A: The Canon EF-S 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6 IS Lens is fully compatible for use with the Canon EOS Digital Rebel SL1 DSLR Camera, regardless to the camera's or lens' size. All Canon EF and EF-S lenses manufactured since 1993 are compatible for use with the Canon EOS Digital Rebel SL1 DSLR Camera.

I have this camera and when I try to change settings on the led screen I push set button & the screen go blank..press again screen comes on,but can't change settings.. is this in the wrong mode or is it a malfunction? It works in touch screen but when I turn touch off it will not work.. what do you suggest?

A: The Q/SET button is a customize-able function button and can be set to a commonly used camera setting, such as quick control. The standard default setting for the Q/Set button on the SL1 is activation of the quick navigation function for the touch screen. Should your button have been set to a Custom Function CNF, you can reset it via the instructions pg 227. The instructions for setting the Q/SET button can be found on page pg 304 of the user manual for the Canon Rebel SL1. To change other camera settings, you will need to go into the menu settings by selecting the Menu button.

Q: 6. difference between 55-250mm lense vs 75-300mm lense?

A: Which lens to choose.. 55-250 or 75-300. It really comes down to two factors. What are you going to use the lens for and what other lenses do you have. 50mm is approximately comparable to human vision. So if your only lens is 55-250 you will be able to do a standard photo to an average telephoto. However, I always prefer to have a little extra in my telephoto lenses. So if you have a normal lens for your DLSR go for the extra magnification and get the 75-300.

A: I dont think the 70D is way better. It is way more expensive. No it doesnt have wifi but you can use a eyed I SD card and it works perfect.

[0.2 lb] Overall a great value! Easy to use and takes both great pictures and videos. Lightweight and compact versus the big and heavy DSLR with comparable image quality and special effects for editing images. This is the camera I take with me on my carry on when traveling. 5

[Retail Box] I upgraded from a Rebel XTi to this Rebel SL1. I thought the white color might look a little strange, but it's actually pretty sharp. It's definitely lighter in weight than my previous Canon. We use it for both intra-oral and extra-oral patient photography at my office and it takes really good pictures. Very versatile too. We put a ring flash on it for our intra-oral photos and then turn around and use it for smiling portrait photos and it does both flawlessly. The LCD screen is very clear and the coloring is very accurate to what you will see on your computer screen. I would recommend this camera for any dental photography or leisure use. 5

[0.2 lb] This is my novice entrance into photography. From what I can tell the camera is great for a beginner. It came highly recommended by friends that are professional photographers. Everything is easy to get to and is pretty light. This body will last me a good while and I look forward to see in it produces everytime I pick it up. 5

[0.2 lb] This is one great little camera. I say little because it feels as light as a moderate point-and-shoot, but it's definitely not. That is the main marketable feature of the camera. I really just love the ease of use of it. It's pretty easy to use, especially if you've already owned a Canon DSLR already. The 18-55mm lens is quiet and sturdy, and the touch screen is handy. I would just suggest turning the touch shutter off, so you're not accidentally taking photos. I use it mostly for fashion and food blogging, so I'm not using it to it's full potential, but I plan on it soon. 5

[0.2 lb] I wanted an updated DSLR to replace an old EOS Rebel and wished to dedicate it to 'Big Bertha' my wife's telephoto zoom, so I didn't want to spend a lot, but i needed a capable camera that would not disappoint. I got the SL1 because it had many features of its bigger brothers yet was inexpensive and very light. Some claim to want a beefier DSLR to 'balance' their heavy lens. After lugging around such a heavy combo, I opted for the opposite approach. Buying the SL1 reminded me of buying my VW Rabbit instead of the GTI. You get most of the desired features, lose some performance, but still get all the fun while saving a lot of cash. This camera will not disappoint. 5
