This 7' Kino Flo Half Grid Diffusion Fabric Freestyle Air Miniis a fabric front diffuser that adds half a stop of diffusion to a softbox for reduced intensity and contrast. The hook-and-loop fastener allows it to be quickly and easily installed or removed.

A: This diffuser can work for a make-shift softbox and it will reduce the light by 1.5 stops.

A: No it will not fit

A: Unfortunately, this grid is not compatible with the Broncolor 150 cm softbox.

A: Fabric grids are specific to a unit. I do not recommend using grids not designed for the unit.

Q: 5. Will this fit on the new Lastolite Joe McNally Ezybox Speed-Lite 2 Plus? (B&H # LALS2430JM) (MFR # LL LS2430JM)

A: Yes it will

Q: 6. Does this come in a pouch or bag or something? For storage and transportation I mean...

A: Unfortunately not. The item is packaged in standard see-through plastic packaging.

Q: 7. Will this fit on the old Ezybox speedlite as well?

A: There was a substantial design change between the two models.

Q: 8. What kind of screen do I need to use if I’m doing rear projection and I want to avoid a hotspot when viewing from the front.

A: You would want to use a rear projector screen to be able to do a rear projection and to avoid hot spotting you would need to use a projector that is not overly bright for the required distance an image size. Some screens that B&H offers for this are BH #SCEZF7410RP, B&H # ELOMS145H2PD, or B&H # ELOMS120H2DU.

Q: 9. Does anyone know if it will attach to the Lastolite 24x24 ezybox? (which has velcro on all sides to hold the outer baffle)?

A: I don't know about Lastolite ezybox in particular, but I use them with Cowboy Studio 24x24 softboxes and just scoot the outer baffle in a bit so it's half on the velcro 1/8 and leave a little strip sticking out 1/8 to attach the grids and it works great for me.

Q: 10. How is this material under flourescent lighting? Is it still daylight balanced neutral color?

A: First yes it is a neutral color. However, it is not color correction i.e. won't make fluorescent light daylight balanced. It is diffusion material for nocking down strong light sources such as sunlight or a spotlight. The color temperature of the light source is not changed. If you are looking to change the color temp. check out Lee or Rosco color correcting gels. Also look at the fluorescent tubes if they are daylight it would be printed on the tube. You can purchase daylight tubes too.

[1/2 Grid] I got these stands with my Diva Lites and the quality of construction is without question. This is a solid, all-metal stand and the riser locking knobs are exactly the type design I know won't fail. Most stands this light weight are no where near this robust so that is a huge bonus with this stand. 5

[1/2 Grid] Purchased two of these end of September 2020 and they both came with rubber coated clamps so they don't scratch your tubes. Works great with Astera Titans and the ball lock is solid. 5

[1/2 Grid] seems to be good build quality - I can easily fit 2x 4x4 Kinos plus a space bulb case comfortable in there. Some have complained its hard to get the kinos out of the bag but I disagree. It would have been nice to have a place to put the ballast but oh well. Kino makes a nice crate to throw header cable and ballasts into. 5

[1/2 Grid] Easily sticks into a gobo head that can be put on any clamp or anything. Wouldn't use this on a 4x4' but on anything less works fine. 5

[1/2 Grid] I had gotten these Kino 4 banks at an auction and debated whether or not to go with the hard case as I had two. I'm really glad I went with this soft case. The Gaffer's kit weighs in at 80 lbs. Since I'm the one loading in and out, I'm glad to have this case. 5

[1/2 Grid] The bag easily fits the light, ballast, and cables, and has room for a stand on top. If you want to put in 2 lights, ballasts and cables, that configuration fits as well. It's a little heavy with 2 lights and ballasts, but it works, and is much lighter than using the Gaffer Kit hard case. 5

[Hook & Loop] I needed the flexibility of tubes for the style of content I create. I went down the rabbit hole of tubes. And for the quality, reputation, and price I landed on the t44 led dmx 2 light kit. The reflectors mostly serve the purpose of protection for my tubes in storage because I always use the tubes freestyle.But this kit came with them and for the price I'm stoked to have them. I shoot huge industrial scale process equipment and having these tubes is paramount. My next purchase will be 8 of the 25ft extensions for the individual tubes so I can get into bigger equipment. 5
