This was my first time shopping at bhphotovideo.com . Normally I’m very guarded and do not shop online for items like this MacBook Pro M2 . In shopping around I noticed the big box stores all had the same units and was not what I was after . When I saw B&H’s add I had really never heard of them but gave them a look .

I upgraded from 2012 15.4 MacBook Pro, which still runs well but I needed the latest for my consulting project.

This laptop is beastly in its speed and processing power. Display is superb and the battery life is 20+ hours every single time. I look forward to carrying this laptop without power cord when I am at clients' site or on the road. I am a management consult and hence usually use office productivity apps but I will need some serious processing power for database and BI apps like PowerBI and Tableaux. I think I have 10 times the processing power I will need.

The price is high but in terms of value, it's going to be as good as 2012 MacBook Pro, which still is very good, after 11 years!

So, this is a steal for those who are looking for the state of the art technology and the best long-term value!

This is the best MacBook Pro I’ve ever owned. The M2 edition is fast, not that heavy, and has lots of memory — 32 GB. I’m using GIMP and Corel Draw! for both photo and object editing, works wonderfully. I would also recommend this machine for software developers. Xcode only takes fifteen seconds or so to start on this M2.
