[Black] I wanted to be able to change lenses without removing my matt box, this filled the bill. I believe it's overpriced considering the materials and design, but if you really need or want something enough, you pay.

[Black] Earlier this year I purchased a Heden M21VE dual pin motor and 2 of these gears in different pitches. These additional gears fit a 64 pitch (0.4 MOD) and 48 pitch (0.5 MOD) lens rings. The gear that comes with the motor (0.8 MOD) works with a 32 pitch lens ring.

Also, make sure you use these with the correct motor. The larger motors require a larger diameter shaft and will not work with these gears. Conversely, the larger shaft dual pin gears will not work with the M21VE motor (I learned this lesson the hard way).

[Black] Thats the review, LOL. Don't mess with the RedRock Micro motors unless you like to have endless problems. The next cheapest option for the Movi Pro with use on the Movi controller is the Chrosziel. Most pros use the Heden's but this works just fine, plug it in and set to Chrosziel in Movi controller FIZ setup and boom ready to go.

[Black] This is a great digital motor for focus pullers. I use a Preston Cinema System and have always used Preston motors in the past. The form factor of this motor is so much better and i can build my camera tighter on remote heads. After a lot of research this motor is more efficient than the Preston DM-1X and half the size. DM-1X has a spin rate of 229 teeth per second and the M26VE-LX spins at 255 teeth per second so that means faster racks from minimum to infinity. The LX version of this motor is worth every penny.

[Black] Needed this for old lenses whose focus gear has a lot of travel. Works great.

[Black] Chrosziel really stands for German quality and costumer service. I had the chance to test this and I can say it's a very strong motor, ideal for crash zooms but also for slow, smooth zooms on cine lenses! It also has a Photolens-Mode but for that it raises the minimum zoom speed. Also you dont need to own a FX6 or any of the other supported Sony cams. Just plug your LANC-Controller into the motor and you can use it with any camera. The Chrosziel Team also was very helpful with any questions I would have and offered great and fast costumer service which is something I value a lot!

[Black] Works Perfect! It is my First follow focus and it is very simply to use. Very good service and contact with sellers. Fo every questions i have fast feedback. Magnum its automatic calibrate and fast. He has a several options preset. It is also good work with hard cinema lenses and ring for lens. I recommend this product to professional work. In our TV also use this systems.

The Heden motors and gears are very convenient in that the different gears can be changed quickly and easily for different pitches on lenses (examples are 32, 48, 64 pitch). They also attach to either side of the motor.

[Black] It works grate with mi tilta iris motor and I put it with out tools.

[Black] Haven’t used it a ton yet. But compared it to the Teradek motor, and the Heden MV26 (paired with a It’s definiteky quieter and smaller - and about half the weight of the Teradek, which was already pretty light. I dig the ingenious rod clamp that adapts to either 15 or 19mm internally without the need for an adapter that you could lose. I am using it with my Chrosziel Magnum 200. Has no problem pulling stiffer cinema lenses. The only potential negative is that the cable that runs to the receiver is fixed. So while that reduces weight with the reduced connector, if the cable gets damaged, your motor is out of commission until the motor cable is repaired (taking the whole motor out of use). I intend on having a backup motor. Given that Chrosziels system is compatible with other brands of motors (unlike the Teradek), should be easy to find one to swap in.
