The Neewer CA048 L-Bracket for Sony a6700 Mirrorless Camerafrom Neewer CA048 L-Bracket for Sony a6700 Mirrorless Camerahas an Arca-type dovetail mount on each axis, allowing the the Sony a6700 to mount vertically or horizontally to quick release clamps, gimbals, and more. The bracket secures to the camera via a 1/4"-20 screw. Multiple 1/4"-20 threads and one 3/8"-16 thread provides mounting points for other accessories. There is a cold shoe slot on the bottom of the plate and another at the top of the vertical element for adding even more accessories. The vertical element can also be extended 0.8" to allow cable access to the camera ports when mounted vertically.

The durable aluminum bracket features a strap slot, and a silicone pad resists camera movement and protects the finish of the camera body. The design of the base maintains access to the camera's battery port. A convenient flathead screwdriver magnetically mounts to the underside of the CA048 plate so that it is always handy.

[0.39 lb] Helps fit your pinky round the base of the camera. I don't have an arca swiss tripod yet, but I'll probably get one now that this is compatible. The extra weight is noticable, but it makes the camera feel very well balanced. More sturdy in a way. I think it's a worthwhile purchase. 5

[Arca-Type] I was worried at first because I was unable to open then battery cover because the opening was blocked. Then after careful inspection a hinged part of the baseplate swings away to allow the battery cover to open. All in all fits perfect and provides a place for my pinky. 5

[Yes] What a perfect addition to the A6700 body. Gives you that pinky grip area. Is built so very solid allowing easy hookup to a Arca-Swiss mount on tripod or monopod. Very clever swing out arm to allow for easy access to one's battery as well. What a great design. 5
