[Yes] I set up my Daylight light near my painting easel during an Arctic Freeze this week. My dog came over and saw the light shining on the floor and immediately curled up in it. Just like she does in sunlight!!! The bulbs are great to paint with. The purest light! They are a little noisy? I love them. 5

[Multicolor] I've worked with both the Astera and these SGC lights, and I recently bought the SGC 4 light kit. These grids are pretty much a must have accessory! I got two of them for the kit because generally the interview type work I do, that is all I need. They are a fraction of the cost of the Astera accessories, and if you were thinking you could even use most of the Astera accessories, you'd be wrong. The SGC tubes are about an inch longer and will not fit. So far, I am loving the SGC lights! 5

[Multicolor] My particular application was a bathroom product shot where I replace halogen ceiling lights in a typical recessed can. Adding this bulb and then taping a translucent diffusion over the can helped utilize practical light fixtures in the shoot. Seems to be much less fragile than carrying around daylight balanced incandescent and also the heat saving design is welcome for your cast and crew when shooting in tight quarters. 5
