[70 G / 2.0 ms] This drive has been performing very well so far. It is a replacement of the original 320GB Seagate on a 2008 Mac Pro. The reason for the purchase was for the much needed space, and for video and photo editing. This hard drive is perfect for this. It is inexpensive. The computer is now operating much more smoothly; it is incredibly quieter; and boot up is a lot faster! The reviews on this drive helped with making the purchase. 5

This WD Black 1TB is for a new PC gaming build, for file storage, applications, and OS image backup, etc. The boot drive is a Samsung SSD, which I also purchased from B&H, here. My experience has been, I find really good prices here for memory & storage, on brands like WD, and fast free shipping. Good - drive passed a 48hr stresstest with no errors. Stayed cool and quiet the entire stresstest. Registered it thru WD, it's a retail kit, so it has 5 year warranty. Not so good - it's never free. Reasonable, yes; free, no. 5

[1.78 lb] I usually buy WD Blacks in the 2TB versions and they've always been good performing and reliable workhorses. Since the pricing has come down so much on these traditional hdd units in recent years, I chose to get a 6TB version this time to hold my photo and video media. This was installed in a Sabrent fan cooled USB enclosure, just like the rest of my WD Black drives, and hooked into my Windows 10 system equipped Dell Desktop. Formatted it as an NTFS file system drive and it's working extremely well. Quiet and fast, I'd highly recommend this drive if you desire a more traditional hdd unit with a larger capacity. 5
