Based on the Ampere architecture and designed to handle the graphical demands of Full HD 1080p gaming, the Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3050 WINDFORCE OC V2 8G GPUbrings the power of real-time ray tracing and AI to your PC games. The GPU features 8GB of GDDR6 VRAM and a 128-bit memory interface, offering improved performance and power efficiency over the previous Turing-based generation.

The front panel of the card features a variety of outputs, such as DisplayPort 1.4a and HDMI 2.1. HDMI 2.1 supports up to 48 Gb/s bandwidth and a range of higher resolutions and refresh rates, including 8K @ 60 fps, 4K @ 120 fps, and even up to 10K. The RTX 3050 is not just about high-resolution gaming. Computationally intensive programs can utilize the GPU's 2560 cores to accelerate tasks using CUDA and other APIs.

For cooling, Gigabyte implemented the WINDFORCE cooling system. The two fans feature alternate spinning to reduce turbulence and increase airflow pressure. The 3D Active Fan provides semi-passive cooling, and the fans will remain off when the GPU is processing a low load or low-power game. The airflow is spilt by the triangular fan edge, and guided smoothly through the 3D stripe curve on the fan surface. The graphene nano lubricant can extend the life of the fans and is quieter.

[Dual-Slot] This fits in a Lenovo IdeaCentre Gaming 5 where a 3 fan model would not. The 500w psu in said PC powers this card with no issues, despite the recommended 600-650w you see with many 4070s. The Lenovo PC I'm using has a support clip that ordinarily fits around a Lenovo brand RTX 3060c but it won't fit around this card. This hasn't been an issue yet, but I will take the support brace to a sanding machine and try to make it fit. Not necessary for everyday usage but might help for the sake of transport in the future, just to keep the gpu from possibly moving in the case. I'm just paranoid that way. As a base model 4070 you shouldn't expect it to win any awards but that's not what it's for. You get this 4070 when you need one that will fit in a medium to small case with a PSU as low as 500 watts. Recommended if that's what you need. 5

[2560 ] I don't game but I use LR and PS which were lagging with my old 1050 card. I installed the new MSI GeForce RTX 3050 VENTUS 2X XS 8G OC Graphics Card and now LR and PS scream. I'm very happy with the card at a good price. 5

[7680 x 4320] I have a Lenovo Thinkstation P340 Tower. It came with a Quadro RTX 4000 card and with photo and video editing, I found the stock card to be too weak for my liking. So, I started looking for a current generation video card that would fit in my workstation. It was challenging. I needed a card that would work with the 500w power supply in my computer and had a single 8-pin PCIe power cable. I also found that the space inside the case was limited. Most of the Quadro series cards fit the same space but either take up one or two slots but GeForce cards vary in all shapes and sizes. After a lot of research, I settled on this card. It is everything I needed. It fits inside the case without any modification, it meets Lenovo's power requirements, and it uses the older 8-pin PCIe power connector. It's almost twice as powerful as my Quadro RTX 4000 card. So, I'm really happy. I can edit 4K video without any stuttering and I can edit photos from my D850 without any delays when adjusting sliders in Capture One and Lightroom. One important note on this card is it takes up 2.5 slots. It's fat. Gigabyte traded length for width. So, if your expansion slots are crowded, you may run into issues with this one. On top of all that, I can play 4K games on high setting for most of my games. I've done some load testing on this card and cooling seems adequate. I don't plan to overclock or anything crazy since this is a Lenovo workstation. This is probably the most powerful card I can put into my older Workstation but it have renewed the life of the machine and I'm certain this will last me another 5 or 6 years. As always B&H is great with shipping and I paid with my Payboo Card to save on the taxes. 5

[1792 MHz] I needed a GPU that would fit my specific build which had a length limitation and this one was just the right size. Previously I had a single fan GPU at 175mm, which was ideal for my build, but I wanted more performance. Unfortunately, all the RTX 4070s, even the two fan models, are all over 200mm, with most at 225 or longer. Performance is on-par or greater than most 4070s, and it's running on a 500W Flex power supply quite smoothly. I definitely recommend it. 5

[2560 ] Nothing can beat this model at 2K -- sure you can spend more on RGB and extras but it boils down to the same temps and performance. What surprised me was they used a plastic shroud instead of wrapping it in metal -- but makes no difference -- just less stress on the card mounting it in the end. (Compared to the TUF RTX 4070) 5
