The XS70 uses a PCIe 4.0 x4 interface with 3D NAND flash memory and NVMe 1.4 support to reach continuous read speeds up to 7300 MB/s and write speeds up to 6600 MB/s. Its aluminum alloy build keeps the SSD durable and helps dissipate heat while under load. That design coupled with a MTBF (Mean Time Before Failure) of 1.6 million hours, this drive has a long lifespan. Performance is more reliable thanks to its RAID technology support and LDPC coding. Supported DRAM Cache Buffer improves sequential read/write and random read/write performance.

[0.09 lb] I'm using this in a PCIe 3.0 x4 slot currently, so I haven't bothered testing the claimed speeds as my system would be the bottleneck. As installed, however, I can say that I immediately wrote an entire 2TB game library to it in one go from another NVMe drive, and I had zero issues with that process or anything since. So far, it seems like a great drive for the price-point, especially with the included beefy heatsink. 5

[1500 G] I use both a UD90 and US75 2TB SSD Drive in separate enclosures with my GH6 for video and working well. Very convenient and thrifty. 5

[1500 G] Fast drive, I get sustained reads above 2Gb/s and writes are 1.6Gb/s. I run 5 VM's off it and it can keep up with normal users. 5

[0.09 lb] Let me begin by saying I needed a large capacity drive to place in an external Nvme enclosure. I have used this configuration since M.2 SATA. The reason being I'm make my living with computers and as tech evolves I simply reuse any previous drives for application elsewhere. Waste not want not... Specs, controller chips, cache, NAND type, sustained transfer rates - lots to examine. Nothing today is perfect and the cutting edge perks of PCIe 5 have yet to be realized in external devices at this time. I have used Silicon Power products in the past with no regets. I did not measure nor am I concerned with the highest sustained transfer rates as I am not a continual large file user. This drive performs exceptionally well for a computer tech. It comes at a reasonable price with a great warranty from a reputable company. Fastest I've ever deployed. Highly recommended! 5

[8 TB] Used this with an adapter in a really old Ivy Bridge system, and it works great. I read some reviews and benchmarks, which seemed to indicate that this was a pretty good value for its performance. The 5-year warranty is encouraging. 5
