[1920 x 1080] After tolerating an old 17 monitor for far too long, I decided to try this Acer B247W bmiprzx 24 16:10 IPS Monitor from B&H, since I know that they carry good quality products. My desk is somewhat crowded, so the 16:10 size fits the space available nicely. I really like the sturdy, adjustable base and mount on this monitor, and the screen is very clear. The monitor arrived promptly, and was well packaged. This was a very good purchase!

[External] I now have two of these monitors on my desk and I'm liking them very much.
Both monitors setup in minutes and had good pictures right out of the box.
I downloaded a color profile from the Acer website and assigned it to both. It was OK. I do not have color calibration/profiling hardware and don't need to for my uses.
I also reset both to factory settings, then ran Windows color calibration/text profiling programs and that also worked out well.
Both monitors are very close to matching colors/brightness/etc.
Window allows easy switching between profiles.
The monitors are good looking, and very stable.



I did need to get longer cables for one of the monitors as the provided 6 foot cables were maybe 9 too short for my setup.


I had been using a Samsung 245T 16:10 that I paid A LOT more for, but have had for 12 years.
I first purchased just one on these to complete a dual monitor setup and after seeing just how good these monitors are decided to get a matching one. This monitor made my old Samsung seem worn out.

[1920 x 1080] This monitor was used as part of livestream setup with a mac book pro and it worked flawlesly. It replaced an older Apple thunderbalt display. The most important feature was the built-in USB 3.2 ports, no more docks required for the MacBookPro witch only come with 2 USB3. The built in HDMI-audio also help to monitor the livestream. Overall has more modern and useful features than most monitors.

[1200:1] This monitor is super sharp and responsive, and at price that could not be beat.

It is recommended to download the software for handling and monitor drivers from Acer so that the operating system recognizes it correctly.
You can play games perfectly well, although it is not a gamming-oriented monitor.
The only criticism is the sound quality of its speakers.
I recommend it.

[IPS-Type LCD] I like the taller monitor (1920 x 1200). I find this much easier to work on documents in 2 page display format on screen

[External] Got this to replace a very old 1920x1200 and didn't want 16:9 because I'm used to 16:10. It looks nice externally, has enough inputs for me and gives me a good image. I use this for (audio) work and not specifically for video or image processing so take that into account if the latter is what you do. The speaker is a bit weak I'd say, so really I'd put this at a 4.5 probably rather than 5.


But good value. Very happy with it so far.

[17.3"] It's just what I needed for my music production studio. Bright, clear, and with a bit of extra height. Reasonably priced, too.
